I got a SQ about 7 years ago, I love it, I wash my hubbys work clothes in it, he an auto mechanic, talk about dirty clothes. Love top loaders with an agitator. 😊

I love your different meals. This Midwest Farmer's Daughter from Indiana doesn't do fish unless it's breaded and doesn't smell. This Ole girl would have to open her horizon. On the farm Dad raised beef cattle and it was a family affair to cut, wrap, and package. Dad called me in college and asked me to come home to do beef. It was a multiple family deal and we did 3 full beefs. And then there was chickens. Our sweet neighbors got 100 most years. You always make me smile

Great video. A very busy family. I had a Speed Queen washer and dryer in Anchorage. Was around 15 yrs old only one repair. We left with the house when we retired & moved. Bought a Maytag here, Speed Queen had gone commercial sales only. motor burned out in a month. Some yrs ago I found them at a local appliance store, making for the public again. and yes a set is expensive but I LOVE them. I don't think they're available at big box stores. Go to a smaller locally owner business. Have a good week...❤❤

Can't go wrong with Speed Queen. I bought one about 10 years ago because I just wanted something simple, no need for "bells and whistles" (that I never used). There were three different models and I got the middle priced one. So far, (knock on wood), I haven't had the first issue. When you get a computerized washer/dryer and have a big power surge or lightning hit, you will likely need to replace the computer insides/mother board. Also, gears in 90% of these appliances today are a type of plastic, Speed Queen has a metal product. To make it even better, they are made in the USA! I'll never get anything else.

I shopped today at a local store here in Tennessee, for stir fry items. Fresh chicken and fresh vegetables. Squash, zucchini, mushrooms, peppers, onion. I bought a bottle of shrimp sauce, mini pizza 2 of those, pork chops ummm that’s it. $107.00. Wow. One meal, kinda.
