I got one now for over 17 days positive. It comes in waves, you feel good then wake up sick again. I took Paxlovid, but 2 pill vs 3 pill dose do to HBP. I feel sort of on the mend today, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm 65 with 3 vax's. The VA is treating my like a dog under this new administration. The VA employees were held to the complaints of their patients. That disappeared now, so if the DRs are just their for a check, you have no recourse other than community care, which I do qualify for. So, I loved the VA under pro vet admin, but people who hate the vets running it, it's a different story. Good lock and God bless everyone.

Negative results, when you're positive. My Husband started coughing two days before Christmas. All he had was a cough. Not once did I think he had covid. Finally, after 3 weeks of it, he went to the Dr on a Saturday, and showed a weak positive for Covid. Dr told him, you're either at the end of it, or it's just starting. I was stunned. Delta, the 2nd strain, almost killed me. 2 week hsp stay, 2 weeks down at home, and back to our business lugging oxygen machine's. So, he went on a Saturday, and the very next day, Sunday, I took a home test, thinking maybe I had it and was asymptomatic. Neg. My husband took a home test. Neg. He went back to the Dr on Tuesday, and tested positive again for Covid. My husband told his Dr he had tested Negative at home. Dr said the older Covid home tests, were not detecting the newer strains. They gave my husband steroids and an antibiotic. He was over it within days. This was a little over a month ago, and I was all happy thinking I had alot of immunity still, but woke up yesterday with my right side of my head, tighter than a drum, sick. Then, last nite, I almost had a panic attack before bed and was afraid to go to sleep. Fear, I had it I guess. Today, I'm a little worse, but whatever I have, feels like a head cold. No other symptoms. I'm going after work to be tested. XB116 is the current strain. Don't trust any home tests you have, that are over a year old; and, all of our Covid tests are probably a year and a half old, and worthless.

My sister has it again and she was coughing and sinus issues and her husband gave it to her and they both had visited not even thinking about us we are older and we didn’t know they were going to visit us and he was sick chills,fever coughing I don’t know why people don’t think of infecting others. The mask is something that we have worn since the pandemic began. No shots at all We thought it would be better to allow our bodies to fight it if we caught it.But it makes sense to me to have the mask and I wear glasses and wash hands constantly so I don’t have any answers on how you can avoid the situation but stay as far away from huge crowds and try masks and gloves if you want. Sure enough I tested positive 5 days later and he never tested and the whole staff got sick from him. I work at a hotel and it's worse than any doctor office or hospital I have been to. Proper ventilation is key.. Airplanes are the next sickest.. I have been all around the country traveling from east coast NY to Flordia and even West Coast WA and the sickest people are in the hotels and airplanes and hospitals only see the worse cases, we see all the jabbed tourists who either get infected on their travels or get infected by my staff when they're here because my staff are sick so often they can't afford to call out anymore so they either work sick or get fired now. I had it once in Jan 2022 naturally. I haven't had it since but everyone I work with gets infected every 3-4 months. I just get runny nose when I'm in contact with the infected or recently vaccinated. You might be spending too much time with those who got the jab because I become symptomatic around my fiance's mother almost immediately after entering her home and she's had 5x shots and more stuff. She's always with the runny nose and now chronic cough since her 5th shot. She's immunocompromised with Leukemia so she got all the shots , she's been sick but they don't tell her it's covid because of the shots. They just say it's something else. My mom had 2x shots and she has had chronic pneumonia since November.. Two family members are trying to get over it and they have had 3 or 4 times. We wear masks and so far we have been able to keep well and don’t take any shots I’m allergic to everything so I don’t do flu shots I had a severe reaction to the flu shot I took the flu. I showed my dr the daily picture of my reactions to the flu shot he said that I couldn’t take the flu shots again. Please do what is right for you. I just made the decision to not take it because it is very possible that I would have a reaction that I would not overcome. But you must make up your mind to or not to.
