I've not been on the loop of this game but since first time i saw it, it immediatly caught my eye. I've played Sky COTL and this game pretty much sums it up what i wanted that game to be while still having "The Journey" aesthetic to it or keeping some elements of gameplay. As for my job at the village, I would most likely be the baker/cook or perhaps some kind of gatherer/treasure hunter if that's a thing

Wow, what a smashing first glimpse at this captivating new sandbox world! I'm always chuffed by games that focus so heavily on emergent gameplay and community interaction. The developer clearly put a lot of thought into balancing resource gathering, progression systems, town building and PvE elements. The point-and-click controls took me by surprise at first but seem jolly well suited for the relaxing, contemplative pace of exploration and crafting. Automatically equipping tools based on what you're interacting with is such a lovely quality of life touch. I can see this removing a lot of bother down the line. It's evident a lot of care went into the tutorial experience as well. Wisp does an excellent job of introducing core mechanics and fueling curiosity about unlocking new recipes and expanding one's skills. I love how progress naturally leads to thinking about trade routes, specialised professions and working with others. The visuals are stunning too - really soothing art direction and atmospheric music. I'm excited to see more diverse biomes as the world expands. My biggest query is how seamless the multiplayer aspects will be. If building a community feels this organic and collaboration is encouraged, I think Bitcraft has real potential to become my new favourite cosy world to lose myself in. Splendid first look - can't wait to dive in more!

I started playing SDV on mobile, which automatically switches to the correct tool when doing anything and then switched to PC Stardew and I was SO confused on why the tools wouldn't auto-switch. I thought it was a bug or my game was just broken so I LOVE games that implement auto-switching. It's such a simple thing but makes everything easier

Based on RL skills I would be the back up for most other skills if the regular guy isn't available. Like it I'd an emergency and I need it functional now. Just don't expect high quality. In cozy game skills I somehow always end up as a fisherman, or in select few games, the healer.

I'm only halfway through the video, but just in case you haven't figured it out. You were looking for your equiped tools. And they are at where you thought you "claimed" that flint axe. That wasn't you claiming an axe, that was you unequiping then reequiping it.

literally one minute into the video "It's click to move! I wasn't expecting that." aww man i wanted this game but hate that sort of movement mechanic, it always felt immersion breaking for me - thankfully its USUALLY found in games like, say, age of empires where immersion isnt hugely a thing. hope they add something to toggle wasd movement in the future ( unless they already do, im literally only a minute and a half into the vid lol ) but, love your channel! stumbled on your place entirely on accident a few days ago. your content is great stuff to listen to while working, thank you so much!
