I laughed when you said "if you already have a cricut machine, this might not be the machine for you" LOL I have a maker, explore air 3, Joy and I just purchased the venture AND the stand.. I will definitely be buying this machine too. I use my joy a LOT. I love just setting it on the table and as long as I don't need a big cut area, or if I'm making cards, I love using the joy. I also have the easy press 2 in two sizes (I gave my largest one to my niece after I purchased the auto press LOL) I also have the mini, the hat press and the mug press

This would be perfect for taking on the go; I currently take the joy to clients' houses. Making larger cards and the print in cut feature while still being portable makes the Joy Xtra a game changer for me.

Im from Australia and this awesome machine has just been release here. I now have my very 1st Cricut machine. I never really understood what all the hype was about with all the different machines until i unpacked mine last night and did my 1st project. Im in love, my poor husband will be missing me as im now glued to my computer watching all ur tutorials. What i REALLY wanted this beautiful machine for is to make over patches for my dexcom g6 as its getting so expensive buying them now for many years n many more to come, diabetes doesn't go away! So now i have to learn how to design them, what 3m medical tape i can use an so on. Let the creativity begin. I’m very new to this. Dies it do permanent vanilla for glass cups or eventually fir making mugs? I’m torn between getting explore 3 or starting with xtra to learn and I have limited space. When using materials such as mats and smart vinyl, you'll need to use the wider mats and vinyl designed for the Cricut Joy Xtra, as it is a larger machine than the Cricut Joy. I hope this helps! 😊
