I am a middle school nurse. I would like to make stickers for the many students that are struggling with their sense of well being with words of kindness and affirmations. Being a tween/teen is a big adjustment. I just want them to know that they are valued and heard.

Firstly, I'd like to say how much I love watching your tutorials and the enjoyment you get by sharing everything with us. Secondly, I received the cricut Joy, a couple of years ago, as a Christmas gift from my son. I have fallen in love with it. Then, just this past Christmas, I received the Mug Press as a gift from my mum. I've made gifts for friends, etc, and am still learning. I don't have much space at home, so I have a small designated spot for all my materials and machines. As I've been learning, I became disappointed that I couldn't print then cut or that it doesn't have multiple sized blades. As I am an Early Childcare Educator, I wanted so much to make my own original stickers that can be specific to what we are learning about. Even just to make special design prints for clothing for my family, etc. A friend asked me if I could make her 15 mugs, for this coming Christmas, as gifts for family, each one specific to that person and I loved the challenge. When she asked if I could use an image of her son's car on it. I was so disappointed to tell her I couldn't. Good luck to the lucky person who gets it. En-Joy making Xtra fun designs. I love the fact that it is standard paper size🎉 stickers and sublimation are my new obsession! Can’t wait to try it! I do love the look of the Joy Xtra, your video is so helpful and with all the new materials it makes it so much easier for a beginner crafter like myself to understand how to use them properly. I volunteer at a Special Needs school, with the Joy xtra being portable it will give me a chance to get students involved in crafting too. Wow, I just got the joy yesterday. Still in box, will be sending it back 😊. This new one is a game changer. I have a maker and love what it can do. The joy xtra is small enough to take on a plane when I fly to see my sister. She teaches me new things to make. I was never interested in the Cricut Joy because of it's limited cutting size and no print & cut feature. But, this is a game changer! My 2 youngest just started pre-k and kindergarten. So labeling everything they own(more less😂) this would really be a big HELP!! I don’t own any of the Cricuts. Thanks Jennifer, you always give the xtra details we need. I would use this Cricut Joy Xtra to take with me when I visit friends and family who might be sick or shut in due to health, age or other problems. I think with the diversity of this new machine I could add a little Xtra joy, laughter, fun and the feeling of accomplishment to them. Wow I think the possibilities could be amazing! Imagine encouraging someone by helping them to create their own little craft and watching their eyes glow with excitement and satisfaction. It would be nice to see Senior Centers, Shelters or even Nursing homes add these to their public spaces. They say that laughter is the Best Medicine just imagine what a little Xtra Joy can do for the Soul. So I would make anything I could that brings a smile.

I was going to.purchase the Joy next month but saw the newest Joy and got so excited!! I would share it with my fellow scrapbook girls "sisters" when we get together several times a year! In fact, in October we have an event planned. The one girl is very good with the original machine and still uses her Gypsy! This new Cricut Joy Xtra looks amazing! I love how small a portable it is yet it can create a lot of awesome projects! The Print and cut feature of this machine is definitely a big plus! At my job i'm constantly crafting. We love creating a themed door for each season and hanging decorations that fit the season along with different hanging signs and banners for parties. I've made birthday signs and holiday banners for the different occasions we celebrate. This machine would make crafting so much faster and would give us the opportunity to create different projects.

I absolutely have been eye balling the cricut joy because sometimes I just don’t want to pull out my whole maker 3 for a t shirt for my 3t/4t wearing toddler. The extra would make that so much easier especially since his twin wears a 4t/5t and I could make both! They also both love when I personalize their things so this would be perfect for those smaller everyday projects. What a nifty new design and revamp on a compact cricut cutting machine. Your instruction videos are the best. I know that I can find out anything I need on how to create using any of the Cricut cutters, and by the way, I have almost all of them. You are so detailed in each instruction, and I so appreciate this because I need visual as well as reading. Sometimes I get overwhelmed when making a new project, and you always get me through it. I love to do wedding invitations, (and yours were beautiful.) It took me several times before I got the Wedding Cover folder made correctly, but if I hadn't had your instructions, I don't think I'd be able to make it now! I also love to do t-shirt transfers cutting with my Cricut maker and fusing with my hand held Cricut press. I am so pressed for space, that I would really love to have the new larger Cricut Joy xtra. I stumbled upon this video because I have been on the fence on getting a cricut machine to start my crafting adventures! I did research on the cricut joy but my one gripe about it was it did not have a print sensor & cut feature. I never would have expected that Cricut would be releasing the cricut joy Xtra! It is literally everything I want in a compact, dainty crafting machine. I would be using it for making a variety of stickers, postcards, art prints and greeting cards. I am more of a traditional artist and I feel that with a beginner's tool like the cricut joy xtra, it can really jumpstart me on another creative path for my art pieces. I would love to make holographic stickers and beautiful art prints that hopefully I can use to start off a small business. I always had trouble figuring out what to craft, but with a cricut joy xtra, i feel like the possibilities are endless and I would love to experience that. The Cricut Joy Xtra would be a perfect addition to my crafting arsenal. The size would make it perfect for my desk at the office where I could work on craft projects during my breaks!! Everyone loves stickers!! When i was younger i loved crafting and had a childrens toys that cranked out stickers from my own drawings or anything you cut out from newspapers or magazines. That toy sparked my love of making my own stickers. The fact that i can make any sticker my son wants and of things he is currently interested in is the best! I would use it also to print and cut out activities for learning for him. I do have a small space and my cricut air2 gets stored away when not in use and hard to bring in and out and set it up anywhere. I usually set it on the ground. My son could even help me use the xtra and maybe it will spark an interest of crafting for him too.😊

Hi Jennifer, Watching this tutorial was just as refreshing as watching the others. There is always something new that I will learn. Awesome. I am in love with the Joy Xtra because I'm a Special Education teacher and ABA Specialist in Queens, New York. That means that I work with children with learning disabilities and children who are Autistic. They are the cutest kids to serve. My students depend on Visual Support on a daily basis and I find that they are super motivated with the use of colors. I print, cut and color everyday and this new machine will be a great resource not only to me but to the students. I see myself doing much more with regards to their visual directions, schedules, rewards, stickers, activities and the list goes on. My students will be so excited with this addition to the classroom. I will continue to do my best for my students whether I'm lucky to get this machine or not through this great chance. Please, please continue to do your great work since I do depend on your tutorials regularly.

I would definitely keep this in my classroom! Last year I cut different iron on shapes at home and my TK students got to decorate their own shirt. They had so many questions when I told them a cricut machine cut them! This would be a great tool to have in the classroom. We could make more iron ons, create custom classroom stickers and create classroom labels for desks and the white board! Thanks for the video!

Amazing to have a compact machine for cutting, printing and making projects! I travel a lot to visit family and I have brought my regular Cricut many times, but now I am flying most of the time and this machine opens up the opportunity to have a Cricut that "travels"! The Joy Xtra is so portable, I'd take it to my daughter-in-laws house. Once a month or so, my DILs and I get together to do some crafting. We could have so much fun with the Xtra, and by the time we were done, we could have labels and stickers on everything!!

I always love your instructions and I have taken many of your classes. Since this machine is bigger than the Joy I would use it for making cards because I am a card maker. Also use it for making stickers for my granddaughter.

This is a perfect little machine to travel with. I spent 3-4 months a year in Mexico and always wanted to bring my Maker 3, but it way too heavy to carry on an airplane. This is the perfect solution, especially since most of my projects are done on 8.5x11 paper!

I'm very interested in the Joy Xtra. Thanks for this intro video on the new Xtra. I have owned a Explore Air and I now have a Maker. I love working with both machines but have always wondered about getting a Joy. However, it's so little and you have to buy different tools (mats, pens, blades, etc) compared to the Explore and Maker machines. While this is still a hesitation with the Xtra, I love that this compact machine has a lot more capability compared to the original Joy. If I had the Xtra I would be most excited to use it for making print then cut stickers and vinyl. I would likely also use it for card making, especially when I didn't feel like taking my Maker out but wanted to do something quick and easy. Thanks, Jennifer 😊

I have been using my Cricut joy for a couple months now and loveee it so much. I’ve done a handful of handmade cards, holiday tags, iron on etc. Recently, I’ve been more interested in making my own stickers! I didn’t realize how much print and cut would be much easier to have on my Cricut joy. Set up to explorer I think is too much for me so this is such a game changer!!!

I really want to use the circut joy xtra in my classroom, it is the perfect size to go in a cabinet or on the countertop without taking up to much space. I would use it to make student gifts like bookmarks will foil names on them, cut letters to go up on my bulletin boards, and make personalized stickers that I can use as rewards in my class store.

The size would fit in my lifestyle and workspace perfectly. I'm definitely glad print-then-cut was added to the “Joy Xtra”. It would save time without 'rolling' out my Maker. At one point I wasn't even interested in the Cricut but I quickly saw how it raised my projects to a new level. Now I use both my Maker and Joy every chance I get to add a finished, polished or whimsical look to all of my business and personal projects. I will still take my original Joy (and iPad) with me when I'm designing, organizing and labeling client work spaces because its so portable. The “Xtra” would live in my studio and facilitate multi-tasking.

All I could think of was that I NEED THAT CONTRAPTION!!!!! My daughter and I love to label things and this machine would be perfect!! I also want to use it to make decals and stickers. I have been thinking about switching from silhouette to cricut because it’s so hard to find silhouette accessories and cricut seems more readily available. So this would be great to start with.
