The ak and the aug are a lot but the ak is a rare inspect and I never use the aug so i don’t rly care

Mag release trigger and firing triggers are not moving too lol. They were all moving when you pressed them in cs 1.6.

press F+R quickly to reset the animation and get the rare animation quicker, do it multiple times

cs2 still has a cheater issue, the last thing value should focus on is animations. they should have been working and improving vac.

When they make changes to vac they tend to keep it quiet to not tip off any cheaters. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get another vac wave for 2025

I don't know what you mean by there's no weight behind the tap. You aren't SLAMMING the bottom of your hand onto any magazine when you reload a gun. If you mean that the sound isn't deep or has some bass to it then I understand that argument. Also an AUG has a really heavy bolt when you chamber a round (the weight is up front) so you'd definitely pull it back with your fingers facing down rather than up.

I don't think they're too horrible YET, but I'm worried this is the start of them redoing every animation. The animations being simple and crisp is kinda part of cs's identity. We don't need every animation to be super flashy and satisfying, fingers crossed valve save that for the knives only. I'm not some gambling addict who just wants my knife to look special, I just mean I want them to keep the style the cs animations have had for 20 years, and not try to be COD.

Im so done with this game, these valve dev doesnt play the game. Another thing that frustates me is switching left hand to right and they put a fking animation to get me killed while switching. CS GO were so much more pleasent to play.

Tbh you’re right. I never really looked at the animations, so I never thought they were bad. After seeing this video, I’m wondering what the hell Valve’s frontend design team was thinking. The animations look “soft”, not intense or with intention.

@ it doesn’t even need to be serious, it should just look realistic. They should just take reference from how police/military would reload these firearms, and make a similar animation to that. Personally I’d prefer them making subtick feel better…
