I won't be able to tell how this feels until I install it. What I can say off of a first impression is that this is definitely more vivid and alive than most of these visual overhauls. I still sense the beating/decaying heart of Night City.

@@aliceinthewired Oh don't worry, the reshade takes like 1% performance... the LUT and the Weather also doesn't rly impact the fps. the only thing that will is a pathtracing mod on higher settings... but it can just be skipped or set to vanilla settings... or even be lowered. so u have pathtracing at least... just not that hardcore pathtracing :D its a nice mod... i will show it in my next video. Its called advanced pathtracing, u can Google it :)

@@theemryexperience You talkin about the Cyberpunk Ultra + mod or somethin else? I don't know too much about modding. Even with that mod I don't dip into Path Tracing. Don't want to have to turn it off for Phantom Liberty. EDIT: Also, if the performance hit is only 1% then this has a serious shot at replacing NCLM + Nova LUT :)

Hmmm one of the reasons why I never used any reshades for realism, it lacks the vanilla game feel. Will check this one out.

@@zephyrz0902 Hey :) reshade doesn't necessarily mean it changes something from the vanilla game... it can be a only a depth of field for example, so the overall look would stay exactly the same :) this mod will contain a reshade for those that would want to have the following options ive implemented there: an adaptive brightness booster (for nightmission if it gets too dark for example, then u can simply activate it and u good to go :), then a very subtle depth of field, which also works with frame generation and everything, and an colorfulness adjuster, for those who want even more vibrant or less :)) buuut anyways, i am goin to release another video on all the features very soon. in excited af haha

Looks amazing! Are you thinking about making an installation guide on how to get from base game to this, when it releases? I see you said in description at the end "ofc ull also need redext, cyber endige tweaks, redscript... and all that stuff thats needed anyways.". I have no experience on modding so could you please tell what else it's needed, or recommend a guide?

@@dragoscrisan1099 Hii :) yes, i will make an installation guide :) but only for all the mods needed to achieve the look and some helpful tools like weathermancer :) (ofc ill link all the mods needed for them to function as well... the base mods) its rly not much and not difficult. Just get vortex and an account on nexus mods :) configure vortex so u can use mods for cyberpunk (thers also a tooon of tutorials on KZbin on how to start modding) and when my mod releases i will include an easy installation guide :) itl take like 5-10 minutes at max. I don't think ill release another video to this since thers just too many alredy :D

@@chappy48 there will be nothing behind a paywall :) it will be free. completely... that's one of the reasons i am doing all this :D and it was designed with RT and PT :) theres also an hdr version. but i highly recommend using renoDX mod with Hdr

@@chappy48 For every1 who wants to use HDR in general, id recommend to have a look at renoDX :) windows and hdr gaming is never really a good experience on default imo :D also the games hdr optimizations can lack, also depending on your monitor i guess... so again :D yes, use renoDX with Hdr... and tweak it to your liking ☺️✌️

I have a self build computer with a by a aio arctic liquid freezer 360 cooled i7-13700KF, a rtx 4090 and 32gb gskill ram :) every is manually overclocked/undervolted (but that's not necessary :)) also id recommend a good monitor. i only have some midrange hdr, playing on sdr mostly :) if u wanna skip the 4090 (most expensive part besides if want a really good monitor) und also go with a 4080 Super :) for 4k only, the 4080 is enough. my videos are shot in 6k smthg tho... so if u want the exact same thers prob no way around a 4090... but actually... better wait for the 50s series :) it should drop soon.

Just because it is "Cyberpunk" and takes place in the future in a city that obviously has issues doesn't mean it can not be warm and sunny out. ty choom! :) well for videos i raise the resolution up way beyond 4k, until i hit round 60fps for KZbin :) but i have a 144hz monitor, so for actualy gameplay i lower res to 4k so i get like 90fps :)

@@r1pbuck thy :) it depends on the resolution i guess. Do you get 90 in 4k with performance dlss? i think the fps loss will be minimal if you dont overpush the pathtracing mod... i go with 6 rays and 1 bounce (ill also show all the settings in a detailed guide when the mod releases) if u go with like 5rays and 1 bounce, there shouldn't be a huge impact to fps. The weather, the lut and the reshade, so the mod itself, has almost no impact to fps. only the pathtracing mod does :)

two things i wanna know is, how much more demanding is it compared to vanilla settings, and does it support all three modes (RT off, RT, PT)

The mod was designed with RT and PT enabled :) but think about it like the vanilla LUT and weather and how it looks like when u turn off PT and RT. if u think it looks bad, then ull probably don't like the mod without it. Im just tryn to explain that a LUT stays a LUT and weather will be weather :D it will have a other color grade and diff effects, but diff between RT/PT on and off is about the same impact as if u turn it in vanilla on and off :) If you don't use PT/RT, the fps impact will be almost zero... with PT enabled its mayb like... 10% less. But i will drop a detailed video to all that stuff a week before release :)

You should list all the mods used. Theres def texture mods going that you dont have listed. See these videos and the poster will list 2 mods telling people they can have this look with just that. You arent doing that, but you are def running quite a bit more than your list.

@@jeremysumpter8939 the texture mods are listed :) check "collection for upscaled textures" , please, the link there will lead you to the mod pack. (u can choose between like surfaces and npcs, but also a ton of other stuff... i only upgrade surfaces of like streets and stuff) And that's it... all the mods needed to achieve the look are linked :) i diddnt link mods like all my dresses and shoes tho :D if u want to know that, i can give u the links :) but i kinda wanted to keep things clean in the description, so i only linked the mods that are needed for what u can see in the video. Also... the look of my mod will apply to resolutions below mine, but in a lower resolution ofc :) where upscaled textures might not even be needed... so yea, thats about it. i hope it helped choom :) Oh and i am experimenting with a mod to adjust some pathtracing things atm...but the mod itself doesn't change the look, it can upgrade or downgrade and give ppl the option to have a better performance or worse performance with increased pathtracing. i might put that one as a requirement after some more testing :) and i will release another video to all the features of my mod and details about mods and requirements a week before launch :) with launch there will be a detailed installation guide as well... but it won't be rocket science :)

I read the 3070 guys comment and how you said it only drops performance by 5 - 10% and I'd absolutely love this! Where can we connect?

@@DchiIl tbh, im installing mods to new games folders so often that i diddnt bother changing anything there anymore since quite a while. i mean... the mods base settings alredy has increased distances so yea. The only thing id probably change for a new runthrough is that setting that maxes street wetness and puddles... i dont like seeing how the street gets wet 50m in front of me. but i rly don't remember which setting that was :/ sorry

@@DchiIl The video is made in 6k resolution, so way higher than 4k :) and the effect you've noticed is my Depth of field effect from my reshade :) it will be included in my reshade preset with the mod release on Sunday.
