I love that one as well! Yeah! Each flute also has its own voice, so two in the same wood will occasionally sound different as well.

so cool to be able to compare the different woods side by side like that. I like the eastern red cedar. I learned recently that Its not technically a true cedar, its in the juniper family.

I didn't know that! So cool! I've never actually seen the trees, only the wood. I have made a few juniper flutes and they are very colorful and beautiful, but it is so hard to come across a piece big enough for flutes.

@@StellarFlutes There's tons of juniper around bend,or. There's a few folks with portable sawmills that mill it. Kind of a long drive for you though. Loads of dead bone dry lodgepole pine and juniper free for the taking minus an $8 firewood cutting permit from the forest service office. Endless free wood for flutes wink wink. A lot more work though but fun and rewarding. Loving you 🥰
