NEW Dark Shadows in 1795 Barnabas and His Wedding

My Mom said that when she was a teen they came out w a series of Dark Shadows paperbacks. She was stuck in the mountains on vacation n it was the only exciting time in her day, when she could be alone w those characters. I luv how YT brings these oldies to those who are seniors n can relate so well - makes them happy, I can see it on my Mom n the seniors I visit at the nursing home.

All these beautiful women in one show used to kill me. Maggie was sooooo cute. Lara Parker actually freaked me out with her beauty when i first saw her. When I got used to her eyes i was like"ok I love you". Kate Jackson was gorgeous. Nancy Barrett gorgeous. This was and is one of my favorite shows of ALL time. You DS fans dont need to be told why. Its just so endearing to me.

@@melodiefrances3898 The back story years later is that Barnabas visited martinique on a venture with his father, & seduced her. He promised to marry her when he came back. but after 2 or 3 returns he told her he was engaged, under pressure from his father to marry a woman of higher statue. Angelique was poor and beneath his class. Thus she hated him for using her, & ingratiated herself as a servant to Josette & her family. The came back to the states & settled in Maine, near the Collins family because of the betrothal. The rest is history.

Both Barnabas & Angelique are about to leave Collinwood, but Barnabas's mother Naomi insists that both of them stay at the Old House & get married there instead. The ghost of Jeremiah (with a bloody bandage wrapped around his head & he looks somewhat like a "mummy") always keeps haunting Angelique. Victoria told Barnabas the whole truth about how she got in the year 1795. Back in 1967, Victoria was involved in a seance with the Collins family members. That's why she got sucked & trapped in 1795. Finally, both Barnabas & Angelique are married.

At Barnabas' wedding to Josette there would have been a lot more guests than those few people waiting for her in the drawing room. He came from a very prominent family, and Joshua's maiden sister would also have been waiting for the ceremony with Sara.

Ahaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that's how Barnabas Collins (and of course with his marrying wife, Angelique), got the old house, not on his own, as he was not the one who make that decision, but from his mother who was the one who decided upon it, Naomi Collins that is. That was since back from 1795. No wonder!!!!!! Because later since in 1967, then, when ol' Williy let Barnabas Collins out the coffin as from the mausoleum, Barnabas went to the Collingwood mansion to see Elizabeth Stoddard, she wanted to invite Barnabas to live in Collingwood, but that's when in that year, ss Barnabas got out from the coffin and to visit Collingwood, instead of move into living in Collingwood, and that is as in 1967, that is when he decided on his own to move to the Old House without any other one to help him decided for him to help him move there. Now I've know how, when and where to put 2 and 2 (or maybe up to putting 4 and 4) together, because in 1795, it was not Barnabas who was the one who decided to move to the Old House, his mother was the one who planned this for him and his wife. But in 1967, that's when Barnabas Collins decided to move to the Old House. Now I've know how the story goes as since from back in the days.

Angelica always has an evil plan. About this time I’m betting the sympathy began for Barnabas before the curse was put on him. Time travel who wished as kids could do that. The witch is discovered by Barnabas without knowing it at first. Always looking for an angle to hold over Barnabas head, guilt for 1.

I could not wait till I got home from school to watch Dark Shadows I had it so bad I kept a diary of Dark Shadows but wouldn't you know one of my younger sibling took it to school and the teacher kept it .I never got it back this goes to show you I was all into dark shadows and I now watch Dark Shadows on my Roku.

I'm going to tell you something y'all I love Dark Shadows I do we watched it in the 1980s yes Lord it seemed like the best decade the two best decades well I'll take that back some of y'all know I would say the 70s 80s and the 90s were the best Decades of American life I'm not going to get into a big thing about it we lost a lot of people in the '70s and '80s plane crashes car wrecks etc etc beautiful one of my friends in 1990 oh my God I miss that boy today vehicle accident😪❤🌹🍻 but Dark Shadows would come on in the afternoon now get this no cell phones still had pay phones I wish they were still around maybe some places they are you can only hope ginormous boomboxes and Stereos🤣🤣🤣🤣 I think that's when the coin shortage started when they took all the pay phones people were so scared of sticking their fingers in there sad isn't it no tablets no iPhones at all no apple no Google and nobody had ever heard of Facebook or Twitter let alone Instagram or they were up and coming so many things have changed for the good and the bad🤷‍♂️ just keep kicking don't need Millions you didn't come here with any you're not going to take any with you believe that but Dark Shadows would scare the utmost hell out of me my grandmother would watch another world and Days of Our Lives In the Summertime we got to watch it after school and in the summer time and it was reruns in the '80s as it is now and will continue to be we were kids when we first got into it cause everybody was talking about the vampire show and they showed everything the coffins the Tombstones and Eagle Hill Cemetery would terrify me the creaking of that old gate when they opened it going into that mausoleum I just knew something was going to grab Julia and eat her up they were so brave to go there and Collinwood was so elegant and they all dressed so lovely but you couldn't give me one Thin dime to stay in that house or the old house at all or anywhere in Collins port I love Carolyn Angelique Mrs Stoddard Victoria Josette Maggie Jeremiah Barnabas all of them all of the guys Ben Willie ❤🌹🍻🤣everybody Joe burk roger all of them had the perfect parts it's so many to name Danielle Roche Kate Jackson the girl that played her beautiful sister the other red-headed the one that barnabas fell in love with again yes Roxanne Drew Carolyn played great characters pansy faye but it's to many to name I love Julia Hoffman🌹❤ and all of them Quinton was just gorgeous he looked like Elvis in so many different ways if you had something good to eat and sat down and watch Dark Shadows it was on👏👏👏 it was romantic it was cheesy it was sexy it was spooky ain't the word😳👏👏👏🙈🙈🙈🙈🍻🍾🥂 but if you are just getting into Dark Shadows and you didn't know anything about it and you're just getting into it you will love it and hate it and cry it should have lasted about 3 more years Dan Curtis and Grayson Hall's husband and all the others that are included that I don't know your names if they were completely brilliant they had something going on that I don't want to touch on but they took it to too many different kind of levels but the show was brilliant it made you hurt for the ones that got killed and couldn't come back and some of the ones that did come back would make you tear your feet off getting away from them lol.🤣🤣 Dark Shadows is the best. The best Bloody creme de La Creme everybody needs to keep across with them at all times and call on the main man his name is Jesus.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤✌
