I rotate my board 36° once a week. What many people don't know is that this is not just about avoiding light, softer spots. As you gradually pull more and more sisal fibers out of the board, the pressure in the most frequently played segments drops (if you don't rotate, or don't rotate often enough). Since the pressure in the segments next to it is higher over time than in the heavily played segments, the wire bends. This in turn is the reason why it protrudes further and further from the board. Rotating the board once a week should at least double the usage time compared to a board that is not rotated at all.

All you have to do is rotate your board from time to time, utilize the whole board and you’ll get a lot more time out of it

yes, rotate your board every month or so. You can make you board last MUCH longer.

Randomly i literally bought these in soft tip just last week!! Lovely dart in the hand and very nice to throw. Like you im a shot darts fan, and actually felt weird going off brand (i may have had a few beers when ordering)....but these are great!

I heard that the Winmau Blade 6 series are very soft boards and the Winmau Blade 5 series boards were harder. I was going to buy the Winmau Blade 6 triple core but I changed my mind and ordered the 180 Gladiator 3 plus. I am waiting for its arrival. I also have a Unicorn Striker, I didnt rotate the board and the 20 is destroyed and the 5 and the 1 is getting bad, I have just started rotating it. I am getting a lot of bounce outs with this board though.

Congratulations on finding a new darts! Gerwyn uses 75 micron dart flights on his match darts. I imagine this is an attempt to reduce deflections. I tried this, but the flights popped out of the shafts too often, and I got tired of playing fetch. Thanks for the update and review on the darts.

I like the Shot darts you use as well as the new ones you just got. Good sets! Hey, remember to rotate the Winmau (pronounced WinMORE) board every week so that your segments don't wear unevenly like the Prodigy board. Good stuff brother!

I've been using the Gerwyn Price originals in soft tip, for 3yrs now. I'm on my 3rd set of 21g darts. I've owned 2 sets of his 20g blue ice darts and currently have a set if the 20g world champion darts. In steel tip I have a set of his world Cup, World Champ, and Lunar series darts. They are all around an excellent dart to throw! I can see you ordering a set or 2 for soft tip if you haven't already 😂 as always, good luck and good shooting 🎯

@@IronmanDarts you should start. I’ve had my board for over 2 years now and it looks like it has just come out of the box which I could send you a picture to show you what I do to make it look brand new. I use my board for 3 -4 hours a 7 days a week
