I was at Costco today picking up another bag of Skinny Dipped peanut butter cups, and a lady checking out next to me gasped and asked me where they were. I told her, and she came back with two bags. I said, "So I guess you like them!" I told her I was low-carb and it was hard to find a good low-carb sweet. She said she's obsessed with them and gives them to her kids because they're such a good alternative to the full-sugar brand. SO good. Look for the purple bag.

Another great video! And you are right - always check the nutrition panel and ingredients! To that end - I want to request you always hold the nutrition panel and ingredient list up to the camera, so we can pause to read it! This would be hugely appreciated! Keep up the great work!

Hi there! I’m a newer subscriber and I’ve been loving your channel. Me and my boyfriend have been slowly making some of your recipes and integrating some of your tips and it’s been SO HELPFUL, so thank you. I wish I found your channel years ago. I would love a video on how you define “clean.” We are not fully clean yet, but trying to be more conscious. Everyone seems to define this differently, so I would love a video on what clean means to you, what ingredients we should be avoiding, etc. thank you so much for your videos!

I love the cases of liquid egg whites for quick omelets and the cases of hard boiled peeled eggs for snacks. These are my must get every time. I did pick up the beef kabobs and a mango chicken curry that I’m looking forward too! LOVE these videos! If you ever do a Trader Joe’s video I’d be here for it! We just got one in our area but I haven’t been to it yet. Thank you so much for your help! ❤

I was immediately drawn to the salmon skin snacks and looked up the brand. Holy moly, they are super high in cholesterol. A single serving has 62% of your daily recommended intake! That might not be a problem for some people, but it's something to be aware of. I really appreciate your advice for everyone to check the labels😄

Just a small FYI, I did keto religiously for five years, I’ve now been diagnosed with non-alcoholic, cirrhosis of the liver, end stage. You need to be really careful and constantly have your blood checked and your liver enzymes checked how do I known that keto would’ve ended this way for me I would never of done it. Did it work? Yeah but at what cost.

After losing 30 pounds, all my bloodwork was awful. All my cholesterol was bad. Following very low carb diet and no clue what's happening. My doctor doesn't believe how I'm eating. 😢
@WendyMartin-s7bАй бұрын
I have lost 130 lbs on keto, but my cholesterol results which have never been bad, became super high. My diabetes is cured. I am finding keto helps with sugar and diabetes issues, however with some keto ingredients that are low carb like cream cheese, butter, cheese, nuts, milks, heavy cream, mayo, these things may be very low carb but high in cholesterol. I have learned to just stay away from those items and a lot of times these ingredients are used when making desserts and casseroles. I just stick to green vegetables (spinach, kale, lettuce, etc), fruit (berries), eggs (a couple per week) and turkey and chicken, plus plenty of water and lots of exercise (I do 6-8 miles of exercise a day). When I stopped using the high cholesterol (although low in sugar) items, my cholesterol went back to normal levels. Some people have to eat foods that don't spike their sugar levels, raise their cholesterol level, raise their sodium levels or if they are counting calories or eating clean foods. Keto just really pertains to sugar levels. Keto does not necessarily mean clean or healthy eating, there is a lot of keto processed foods available now. Nice job on losing 30 lbs!

@user-wx9kh7py6x Thank you so much for the encouraging words. I am trying to eat low fat, high protein and low carb. I have no gal bladder. I think part of the problem was losing so much weight so quickly. The cholesterol saturated my blood.

I love cherry pomegranate crystal lite. I mix it with a pack of golden cherry liquid IV and some flavorless fiber powder to help keep hunger urges at bay. Plus the fiber helps with keeping regular on a low carb diet.

I use lemons, roll them to soften, then cut in 1/2, then each 1/2 in 1/4ths, then put them all into a free,er bag. When I fix my water, I use a 34 oz stainless steel tumbler: add ice, 1 teaspoon of pink h. salt, then 3-4 of the lemon wedges, then add my water. Yum!

For a refreshing, super zingy drink that contains natural digestive enzymes try 'Good Girl Moonshine'... 1-2T. apple cider vinegar (with the mother), 1t. ground ginger, ice cubes, quart of water (or cooled berry tea of choice). Sometimes I add a pinch or two of stevia extract powder and/or fruit flavored extracts and/or sparkling mineral water, for fizz. Can double and sip all day. Curbs hunger too. Hope this helps! *Gotta give it an occasional stir as ginger may settle to the bottom.

Is there a point whwre u no longer lose weight being on keto ? After losing what u lose, does it just stop there ?
@cuatrovientosmtyАй бұрын
It is normal to experience a plateau after loosing a lot of weight. The first time a tried keto, I lost 50 lbs in five months (almost no exercise) and then boom! No weight loss for several weeks. I had to start working out a little bit to take my metabolism to a point where my body was able to burn fat again. Now I do low carb one or two weeks once in a while and then go back to keto.
