It’s insane how much they’ve invested in an IP that most aren’t familiar with anymore. And that they seem to be pulling off all these different game modes. Campaign, extraction, BF-style multiplayer and more. It also looks pretty smooth to play and in a good technical state coming up to launch. I’m really impressed and will be trying this out.

Cod does that on the regular. They find something really cool in one game, and then rather than expand on it and improve it, they just move on and leave it behind in the next game/s. Only real exception are things like the weapon building and the zombies. (obviously Warzone, too, but that was built on following a trend, so it makes more sense to stick around)

This is generally looking great, F2P and on consoles? The Extraction Shooter market for console is legit non existent, this game is legit going to be actually insanely popular on release, regardless if they have operators i think that will spice up the combat and interactions ALOT and thats actually amazing to see in an Extraction Shooter, very unique so far. 3 Gamemodes? Campaign, Multiplayer like BF, Extraction Shooter Game Mode with Bosses and Gear and Weapon Modding like Tarkov???? Sign me up man holy this game looking like a breath of fresh air. Hyped is an understatement bro.

I do like the concept of dynamic and scripted events in missions: you hack something, protect it from waves of enemies, than it enables you to go to some other POI and clear it and so on. This kind of missions is missing from other extraction games where your missions boil down to "fetch me that" "go mark this" "kill X bots"

Its the fact that you're all competing for the same single goal that makes it feel like a completely different game type, you know what I mean? I like that in Vigor, or this game, technically you don't HAVE to fight other players to succeed, as long as you can find loot and get out... somehow makes killing players feel even more rewarding.

The animation style most likely. While battlefield has never really had the absolute best reloads or weapon animations, this takes notes from cod and tries to give weapons that freeform sway. That’s probably what you’re seeing

Damn delta force is a big nostalgia hit for me. Used to have family Lans playing Delta force black hawk down. Defending the bunker on Cracked, riding around with the helicopter or just camping on the rooftops. Good times.

Already liking the slower paced movement. A good mix of tactical and arcade movement. I know people couldn’t stand MW2 and the DMZ mode back then but I was in love with it. This looks absolutely on point with DMZ. More so better because the AI isn’t cracked out of its mind. Not to mention the environment looks really good with vantage points and valleys for some crazy tactical shootouts. I’m intrigued for sure.
