Wish we would have had this room a month ago when we stayed in a Polynesian deluxe studio. The biggest improvement is probably the Murphy bed, but right behind that is the brighter colors on the walls. The old red/brown rooms felt so dark even with all of the lights turned on and the curtains open. This is a huge improvement for these rooms!

Oh I love the hallway carpet and colour scheme. I wish that the Moana theme had been extended to the DVC villas 🙁, but am excited about the Murphy beds 👍 Thanks for a great video.

We just stayed in this room in Moorea 3rd floor water view October 2023!! It was our 1st time at Poly & I will always want to stay there now😊 The colors are beautiful & so happy they kept Lilo & Stitch ❤ Thank u for the video & what a great experience! I’m researching buying DVC!

The Murphy beds are the best add to all these studios. We use them for a week at a time and they are substantially cleaner and more comfortable. Plus easy to actually setup. Big thumbs up.

Thanks so much for this review. We have stayed at the Poly many times and as recent as June. We brought our son, daughter-in-law, and teen granddaughter. I wish now that the refreshing had taken place before our trip because seeing it through their eyes it did look rundown and I agree with Paul that the rooms had gotten dingy. The white walls and beautiful blue multi colored carpet help to brighten it up but I wonder how long they will stay looking refreshed! I feel that all the "neutral" coloring Disney is implementing in the resorts make the rooms look sterile and more like any other hotel room. Just my humble opinion. Looking forward to your Boardwalk Villas review!

I can’t wait to stay here next February!!! I’m excited for the murphy bed and I’m so glad the halls got the lift too! The walls in the room look a bit stark to me but I’m sure it is gorgeous in person. I didn’t think I’d have a big issue with the pumps in the villas, but after a recent stay at the Riviera when our big shower was out of body wash when we arrived and it was never refilled (and we did call and ask!), I’m less than thrilled to see the change at my home resort.

Great -you both did a nice job with this video - and thanks. I stayed at the Poly - but that Ferry horn every 15 minutes drove me nuts. Trying to relax in your room was impossible. I stayed for 1 week there....but next time I will not take a lake view.

They are moving fast. Moorea reopened today. Only one longhouse that was closed last week to go. Should all be done by the 50th!

Hi Amy and Paul, great review my family and I will be staying in one of these rooms in about 18 days. Hopefully you can answer a couple of question for us. I know the room will fit five adults and it might be a little tight but it’s only for 2 nights. My question is now that they just did a refurbishment does the room have a smell with the new rugs and with the single bed in your opinion will it hold a large adult?

Anyone know why Poly and now GFV are being put ahead of the Boulder Ridge Villas? They were slated to be redone and keep being pushed aside! DVC show some love to BRV owners. they are in dire need and now shoved aside yet again. Thanks for this Poly review.

why were poly DVC rooms upgraded before working on BLT, which is in really terrible shape and definitely could use those murphy beds (the pullout beds at BLT are beyond disgusting at this point - totally filthy and worn out).
