I agree, but don't you think the public deserves a better answer? We all love Kate very much and hope she is fine, but you can not deny all the strange facts and it is only human to wonder what is going on. Ofcourse I do not think she ia dead, and there is no body-double. If she had died during some procedure, the RF could just let the world know and have a funeral, and William and the kids would get enormous amounts of sympathy. But the facts are strange: Kate suddenly canceled all of her engagements after the surgery, and she was not seen in the months leading up to it either. She was last seen on christmas. And then the "mistake" of her wedding-ring. That is just too stupid to be stupid. The RF has a very professional PR-team that scrutinizes every detail and especially missing a wedding-ring is SURE to generate much speculation. So, why did they overlook that, or was it intentional? I'm guessing an ectopic pregnancy. Especially if she was rushed to the hospital as they stated. And then change that story to a planned procedure. When you're talking about a pregnancy like that and her having hyperemesis gravidarum. And why would she have any appearances on her schedule if it was a planned surgery. I think, after 11 years of marriage and three children in that amount of time, this poor woman has gone through enough no matter what the reason for the abdominal surgery. That is a very ignorant comment and not very realistic. People in the RF must realize that the public is very concerned about their well-being and when the Princess just disappears for months and even was not even seen for the month leading up to 17 january, it is understandable that the public starts to be very concerned. And when that is followed by a doctored picture in which the wedding ring is missing, then it gets even worse. The RF has very professional PR-people working for them and it is almost too stupid to be stupid to let such a "mistake" like a missing wedding ring slip. I have just listened to Nigel Farage's interview of Catherine's uncle Gary Goldsmith which took place just recently and he was emphatic that she, William and the children are a very loving family. I had a radical hysterectomy because of a borderline ovarian tumour at the age of 64. They asked if I'd like to leave 5 days later and although I felt very ill I agreed as walking to the toilet was terribly painful for me and the toilet door didn't fit which meant members of the public could walk in on me. So I went home and was very poorly for two weeks and was in bed for 3 months. So Kate gets excellent attention, but I as a mere 64yr old member of the public went through hell.

Has anyone had extensive abdominal surgery? I have and recovery is tough. I have kids also and it is hard to recover. I give her a lot of credit for a making a health plan, and sticking to it. She will definitely benifit down the road for placing her health first. My prayers are with you. You will be back to the whirlwind soon enough. God Bless

My suspicion is: Catherine of Wales had a nervous breakdown, her advisors told her to check into medical facility for treatment for at least three months. The day William could not attend the funeral I think is that Catherine had a relapse and he had to quickly be by her side. Who agrees with me. ? She became unwell over Christmas. I do believe she was seen going homers the woman said she was walking gingerly as one would expect.. She doesn't want to be seen whe n feeling so weary. she also hadn't vanished but was at her home Adelaide cottage in Windsor. No mystery and I have had operations taking two months plus to recover from. TheSpanish news are a nightmare with thier lies.

Wendy I think Catherine has had the problem for a while but the symptoms may have become worse over Christmas. The Doctors clearly knew an operation was going to be required which is why they were able to operate without a great deal of delay. I am horrified by the dreadful behaviour of people who contribute to Social Media as there has been a total breakdown in civilised conduct in relation to the ill health of a lovely lady.

No one is asking for medical info. No one. It's been three months. No surgery requires three months convalescence to the point you cannot be seen by the public, you are not ambulatory. *If* all is well as they are trying to persuade everyone, she could easily provide a short video thanking people and/or strolling her grounds. As a woman who has given birth 3 times, it is entirely possible that Catherine was in need of an umbilical hernia repair as I was. The recovery from that surgery was long and hard. I can certainly understand her not wanting to be seen publicly until she is feeling up to it and looking her best. An umbilical hernia can also be related to previous endoscopic female surgery procedures. Seems very plausible that she wishes to keep her female health concerns private from the public. She has the right to recover at her own pace away from the public's scrutiny. I also suspect they may have said Easter, knowing that she may feel ready to appear sooner, and then could pleasantly surprise everyone.

Asking my husband, a medical doctor, about an umbilical hernia repair, he says that most are done as day surgery...into hospital and out of hospital the same day. Some people might stay overnight. Catherine was in hospital for 14 days, so it is highly unlikely that your diagnosis is correct.
