The operation went well, she staid in hospital for 12 days, I think it was, she went home where she is being taken care of and recuperating and she will likely be back by Easter time. All going well. Not only was Catherine not feeling festive, the King’s cancer prognosis made birthday announcements seem flippant. As for the children not being seen in public since Christmas, that’s not unusual at all. We get images of them for holidays, birthdays, and special family outings. Otherwise when they are just going to school every day we don’t see them and never have done. The press release William did using his solo monograph was emanating from him personally, not a joint initiative with his wife, so it was appropriate that he use his own. If the planned abdominal surgery was a colostomy, that would be an enormous deal for her to go public with. If perhaps, she did have a colostomy procedure to help treat something like Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis, that would explain the lengthy recovery time. She’s especially thin, which can be a result of either of those conditions. Anyone who has had colon surgery would tell you the recovery takes time.
