NEW! Dior Amber Neutrals Backstage Eye Palette | Review, Swatches & Tutorial

I mean this brand in general, and definitely the Backstage, isn’t meant for these Instagram blown out eye looks and it would be nice to maybe do a look for what the brand/ product is for and then say ‘hey, I can also get this Instagram-worthy look too’. Not to knock you, just maybe add something to your channel since you mentioned recently liking luxury makeup, if you head in that direction maybe check out how they brand themselves and do their style and yours to attract a more diverse audience. Most people who google Dior eyeshadows aren’t looking for the Instagram eye look, so such a tutorial won’t help them decide

The look was more-so to try every color in the palette to give as thorough a review as possible while also showing how each color applied! Completely see where you're coming from, but this is also just generally the style of makeup I do on my channel while reviewing to show the potential of the palette!! It's just my style I suppose, you make a valid point though! Thank you for the polite input, I very much appreciate it!

@@anm0086 I agree so so much with you. I got here because I googled ''Dior backstage eye palette'' and appeared this review. The girl is pretty and sweet but this is not the type of make up I want to see when we think about Dior eye shadows. We want that ''model worthy'' look: subtile, simple and elegant. I live in Europe and if I go out anywhere (even to a club) like this they probably will put me in an asylum. Lol But I will give a thumbs up to the sweet girl, her review and considerations where good and she communicates well. The only part I didn't like was the tutorial but all the rest where on point. Good job.

This palette is really office friendly. So the subltety of the “shimmers” is OK. Wearing glitter in a legal, accounting, or most corporate offices isn’t cool. And like you said, it would be heaven on a deeper skin tone. Which Dior Backstage needed because the other two Backstage palettes only worked really well for lighter skin tones, IMO. Good video. Can’t wait for Viseart. Hope you are able to beat the release!

EXACTLY. this palette totally has a place. I really had to pass on the other 2, but I am happy with this one. Especially the mattes, they are heaven! Viseart is in the works! Stay tuned. I've been a busy bee. 😘😘😘

Unfortunately, the "shimmers" contain a lot of tiny irredescent particles of glitter. So it's not appropriate for my office. Lol. Glitter everywhere! 😁 However, the irredescent glitter is good for party looks. - Really catches the light. 🌌

I just ordered this palette. I cant get away from these dark warm colors. I have the Naked Heat, Too Faced Peachy Mattes, ABH Modern Renaissance. All very similar tones. I need to stop lol

Dior has very shimmery palettes for the evening such as Versailles, but in Paris in daytime eyemake up has to be discreet with elegant tailleus and bold lips, this is the parisian style and i love it

I have the cool and warm palette already and love them both equaly. So i believe I need this even warmer palette too... 😅 Glad you liked it. The previous palettes didn’t get the attention they deserved!

I like the shimmer being more subtle because it is harder to get a shimmer formula well done that is not over the top.

i did receive this palett today, its stunning and very elegant, also the satin shades are beautiful for daytime or even dinner out, if i want some more glitter for clubbing i can add a coat og glimmer shade and will be fine, love love love theelegance of Christian Dior, unbeatable
