So I bought Tresor In love last week and I LOVE IT! You know what it reminds me of? A stronger more concentrated version of chance eau tendre. I don’t know why it just does. It has those fruity notes and some similar notes. It lasts much much longer and is much stronger smelling so it makes it worth the money because it’s cheaper than Chanel. I know this comment has nothing to do with this video but I just wanted to share my thoughts. I returned my chance back to Ulta because it didn’t last on me. So that’s when I found Tresor In love. I also wanted midnight rose and Miracle. All Lancome. But just can’t splurge like that.

I'm really fascinated by this perfume world. Does someone know where I can find information about what chemicals are used to create certain smells? For example, 'ethyl maltol' is used to create that well-known caramel or spun sugar note, but what about fruity notes? How do they create strawberrry, peach or pear notes? What about leather, gunpowder notes? What chemicals do they use?

Thank you so, so much for this video! Perfume has always fascinated me, but I have a history of being intimidated by it due to a poor upbringing. That being said, I feel called to speak of some perfumes I've been able to obtain and evolve with. All the ones I mention I am aming to have a bottle of each at the same time! I haven't had a high end perfume in a hot little minute, so today I took my ass to Sephora. I'm not a fan of bombastic florals, but I had a yellow rollie of Gucci's Bloom and for a time and ran out early this year. I really liked it, but towards the end I was getting a little sick of it, which is why the rollie lasted as long as it did. Before then I was really into Lady Gaga's Fame. I made that big ass bottle last as long as I could and then a friend who used to work at Sephora who still had a lot of freebies gave me a roollie and I was in HEAVEN! but then I just kinda... got over it. Fast forward/rewind back to when I still had some of that Fame rollie, I got one of those holiday sample packs from Sephora that let you get a full (small) bottle of your favorite for free. ENTER: Tocca Florence! I've known for a while know I can only get it online, but when it comes to things like these, I want them in the NOW! So, I spoke with a lovely employee about what I like in a high end perfume et all, and we came to this iteration of J'ador. I will say with my limited experience, it seems that water based perfumes last longer on clothing than they do the skin compared to alcohol based ones. I need to do further testing-- Which gives me an excuse to buy a full bottle of Bloom or J'ador that's alcohol based!

I dont think one can compare a britney spears fragrance with Jadore. The orinial EDP is a very well balanced smell that develops really well throughout the day. I dont know many other perfumes having this quality!! They are normally just smelling nice and thats it. In comparison to the original Jadore, I am totally not impressed by all the other versions, edts, etc., yes they smell nice, quality ingredients, but thats basically it, some notes are too strong, too weak, etc. Theyre not the same as the original for me. The new d'eau is an interesting one and will definitely try it more, to understand how it is on the skin. So, in my view they produced the edts only for the reason of edp getting less well known and less popular. the edts are in my opinion not the same well thought through products which become classics.
