I know this is a super late comment. But Ashes of Creation will be both action and tab. They call it "hybrid" but really it's more you can swap between the 2 versions while you are playing. But I do believe there will be certain skills that are ONLY tab, or ONLY action (I vould be wrong on this) I've been following AOC for about 4 years now so I'm fairly up to date on most everything about the game, but sometimes I forget something, or I don't notice they changed something, but for the most part I'm pretty accurate 👌

yea im not a fan of old school skill cooldown timers it feels unnatural as compared to resource management action combat. if you have the resources, you should be able to spam a skill until you are physically unable to, it feels more natural @@Tilley53

@RimaruTempest-qf2ze that's fair, the only action combat game I've played is BDO and you have to manage your timers and resources. Idk if you consider ESO as action combat but I've played it too. I consider it soft tab. But AOC will have the timers wether you are in action or tab mode, so I'm not sure if it's a deal breaker or not

@@Hoarcrux yeah so has my buddy, he wants me to hop on the aoc train but I’m not trying to drop a crap ton of money on a pc setup that’ll be able to run it nicely especially since I just treated myself to a series x not too long ago. Hopefully they’ll develop onto console support if all goes well.

playing bdo casually for a few months now, have to say its more crowded than eso which is my main game. wouldnt say it flopped, especially the latest changes (catch up mechanics) are insane for beginners.

​@justinfitzroy2649 not to rain on any parades or anything 😅😅 but AOC will most likely never come to console. Like ever. There won't even be controller support when the game comes out on PC. Steven shariff the creative director said they don't have plans to bring it to console. And he said he's not sure if they will implement controller support for PC. So if you do decide to play the game, just know you will have to get a PC 😅

Already quit ESO when they nerfed 🧛‍♂️ 🧛‍♀️ 🦇. Bowsorc buff aimed shot titanborn and the craft set that took 5k resilience off physical and magical on critical strikes. All points into shadow damage, critical damage and direct damage. When they nerfed the vampire ability to drain your own health to gain power quickly it ruined an unknown meta build that helped 1 and 2 shot pvpers from great distance with ease. Great times, even after you quit guilds full of trolls and bigots. Damn eso for selling their loyal admirers out for short lived financial gains.
