I Got The IPhone 12 pro. With 67 mm nd filter and anamorphic lens combined with The moment case. In total The stuff weighs about 350 grams. So i Got The DJI om4 and it cant carry all that weight..... so my question is. What Gimbal should i get for this setup? Please help me if you know The answer to this 🙏

Same for me but I've found out, that when the DJI Mimo app is running in the background, and you have made a horizontal correction, then it seems to work fine. It's not really a pretty solution but it seems to do the trick.

I notice on the running with the hand held the background jumps your head is more stable but with gimbal you head bounces and the background is stable.

It does work with the phone grip. I wish it was attached directly to the phone with no magnetic phone grip because that would be super convenient but tried it with the 12 and it doesn’t align properly. Hope this helps!

Any extra attachments to the phone will always hinder charging even some phone cases won’t allow wireless charging, the phone needs to be in super close contact with the charger and especially the magnetic ring being metal and requiring to be installed centrally you won’t be able to charge wirelessly at all. I’ve put mine on a phone case so technically you could pop your phone out and charge it. Just make sure you wait at least 12 or more hours for the adhesive to set when attaching to your phone or case. (DJI doesn’t recommending putting it on a phone case but mine has been fine I can’t even pull it off with force).

I honestly didn't see much difference between the two comparison videos. I mean, there is a noticeable difference, but considering the whole purpose of the OM4 is the utilization of a gimbal to stabilize the footage, I found its performance (as shown here) to be completely shocking. It did however seem as though you weren't really trying to compensate for the 'bounce' incurred when walking. It appeared you were just holding your hand rigid-was this the case? I suppose it gives a fair test, but not a real-world way that you would actually want to hold the camera in any situation when trying to stabilize footage. Even the anamorphic short didn't seem very smooth, either. Surprised you liked this device because the footage here doesn't really show it off well.

OK, I was thinking about getting the OM4 but there's one final concern that no one has adressed: the use of the gimbal with a smart battery case. I'm one of those people who use the apple smart battery case 24/7. I don't want to take my iPhone out of there just to use this gimbal. So my question is the following: will it work with thicker phones?

@@icg1287 Nah, I already bought it. And it didn't work. The clamp was too tiny so I created a prototype that enabled the clamp to be extended (I'm a prototype engineer now, former physicist). But when I attached my phone the gimbal struggled really hard. The motors are not strong enough so I decided to sell it. The gimbal that is. I'm just going to get the Pocket 2 instead.
