Hey Ashton! I just got a new 2021 bottle of Uomo Intense. I compared it to a 2017 batch. Pretty much they smell the same. 2017 batch is slightly more loud maybe slightly more lipsticky. They pretty much smell the same after the opening.

Yes, old and new batch Uomo Intense smells almost identical. I received my bottle today and honestly I was not aware that it is reformulated...until this video😄 Thankfully smells the same 👌

Personally I think Tom Ford fragrances are over priced and way over rated. Not worth the price tag. There are so many more better fragrances out there for half the cost.

@@freedomring3022 For pure utility you are probably correct. Tom Ford does do some really nice fragrances in styles that are hard to come by at the cheaper price ranges (ie Tuscan Leather). Other fragrances like Tobacco Vanille have a lot more competition from fragrances like you mentioned. Thats true for niche fragrances in general though.

They've ruined Uomo if that's the note breakdown. I sampled a decant of it years ago and loved the gourmand woody fragrance I wore in the winter. I treasured that decant for a long time. Oh well I suppose. Plenty of nice gourmand fragrances out there.

Accidentally bought the rerelease of Uomo Intense from the Valentino website because it's not advertised as such. Imediately returned it after the first spray. Does not come off as complex or rich to me. Not as strong or long lasting. Gone off my skin within a few hours where the original rides as a skin scent for 24 plus

I have the new Valentino Uomo Intense and a batch from 2016. To me they smell very similar but a lot of frag-heads say the dry down isn’t the same. I honestly can’t tell all that much. Still projects and the longevity is about the same.

I got a test of the original oumo and i couldn’t get that beautiful scent out of my head. That smooth coffee chocolate hazelnut and leather with the iris is so addictive. Went a head and got my a 100ml. And what I get was this 2021 version. And all those notes are gone. Still a very classy and high performing scent. But for those wondering the og is now dead unfortunately. I will be returning mine cause it was the notes that was taken out that I wanted.

I bought Valentino Uomo with the new cap about 2 months ago. I never smelled the old one but I love this one. Hazelnut is definitely still in there. Based on all the descriptions people used for it I think it's probably the same.

The only Pablo santo I’ve ever smelt is the cremo one. That stuff is insanely strong and extremely outdoorsy. So I’m interested to smell it from a higher end brand for sure. Tbh the cremo one isn’t bad it’s just not something I’d wear all that much.

You are absolutely correct Ashton. Already snagged a bottle of The One Gold at my local Dillards. First off don't expect a similarity to the edt or the edp because it's nowhere near those in scent profile. It's a classy, masculine but gentlemanly fresh fragrance if that makes sense. Overall It's better than a lot of the recent sweet bubblegum juvenile fragrances we've seen this year and much more versatile.

Regarding the pronunciation on this one it's pretty simple, you should only pronounce the E with accent on it. So not the last one for ébène but you should for fumé. Sooooo yeah, it was bad 😁

Had VUI and sold it because it felt like a clone to my DHI. Also, it was just a little too sweet for me. But still a great fragrance! Can’t wait to try that TF - the bottle coloring is beautiful. I didn’t like the last releases, but just when I was looking for a new woody scent… :-)
