Awesome directions! I started a year ago learning macrame and I spent most time unraveling knots but it is so enjoyable I am always learning and practicing almost every day. I realized that there are an infinite numbers of knots and always trying to come up with different patterns. I think basically if you loved math in school, you will love macrame. I cannot tell you how happy I am since starting it.

I’m not sure how many rows I ended up doing, but each cord is 11 feet and I did have a bit of extra left over with the size I ended with. Hope that helps!

Hi, I love this towel hanger, and found it easy so far, but I'm very confused about how to attach the ring at the finished end. Do you have a step by step drawing to show what is happening? Thanks.

Hi! So glad you are finding it easy to do! I’m sorry, I should have put a drawing of the knot. It is called a double half hitch knot. If you google that knot and click images, there are a few diagrams that should help you 😊 I hope this helps!

How do you know how to do all this!? I feel like I learned how to do the twisty one to make bracelets literally every year at camp and every year I had to relearn it because I couldn’t remember how to do it even though I’d done it so many times. You know how to do so many different kinds too!

Honestly, just a lot of practice 😅 I learned most of the macrame knots last year and then for holidays and stuff, I would make people macrame gifts so lots of repetition & TONS of mistakes lol I also have a little book to write down cord measurements- once I get them right, of course 😂
