Dream mirrors is such an awesome deck. Konami really fucked it over with the lack of support. If they give more support in the future, it definitely has potential. Specifically the cards Dream Mirror Hypnagogia and Dream Mirror Phantasms, will both boost the consistency and the power level of the deck by a lot. If they want to do even better, konami could also give us the fusions, and the trap that turns your dream mirror monsters into Glad Beast type effects.

Dream Mirror has been one of my favorite archetypes ever since I first pulled them in the TCG. Their tagout style is the most fun version of that style I’ve seen in an archetype. They play well with chaos cards, they have their own awesome Fusion Boss monster (in the TCG, unfortunately not in Duel Links. Yet…). I hope they get more support in the future, even if only a little. Dream Mirror has become one of my favorite Rogue decks of all time.

With no means of recovering the fields when they get busted or banished, and no fusions, we can't really do much of anything with them. Thunder Dragon's a better Levianeer spammer archetype and the best play the deck can make on its own is a 2800 beater that pops a card on summon if it comes through Dream Mirror monster. We really need Dream Mirror Fantasy and it's fusions.

It really is. At best, it's a Levianeer engine, at worst, you get an untargetable 2800 beater in Morpheus who pops a card, which is nice but I ultimately feel like "What if I played Valkyries but ran two Zweites?"

The problem with Archetypes that rely too much in field spells is that they rely too much in field spells, and Dream Mirror compared with F.A. or Triamid might be the worst case because you need specific field spells and the game doesn't have skills that make the deck consistent enough, not to mention monster effects only works when they are special summoned by monster effects.

Also, Triamids can swap out their field spells whenever they’re targeted. Dream mirrors you can’t do anything until the end phase. Literally one cosmic cyclone and you better draw the specific field spell you need

@@SuperDio58 hell,. Triamid was really good for a while before they brought in Sphinx. But once he was brought in, Triamid will probably stay as a top rogue deck for a good amount of time. I'm already invested into this box, myself. So I shall keep the Dream Mirror cards around in waiting for more of their support. From the way some people have talked about them, the other support sounds extremely good.

Just wait until CHAOS TRAP HOLE becomes available in DL; then you will have to say your farewells to ANY light and/or dark monster based decks, including levianeer!!! Any summon (excluding Fusion, ritual, and any summon performed by card effects starting a chain link) negated by CHAOS TRAP HOLE is banished, which is absolutely fantastic😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

No.. No they werent. They were a crutch for other nerfed decks to say "fuck you" and keep working. Other degeneracy. Other stuff killed it. It doesnt have much of anything good in tribe to fill in the loss. Its a combo that NEEDs both pieces to function or a total whiff. No plan b or weaker strat to carry you through. And the rate of success (from my testing) wasnt that great anyway. All of this and they got hit because of another problem entirely.

I feel like the main hang up with the deck right now is you can run out of gas really fast. The field spells being so core to making everything work makes me wonder. Do Dream Mirrors have any recurring effects in their archetype? Something similar to Triamid Pulse that could recycle the banished spells back into the deck to keep the engine going?

Yosenjus, ritual beasts, triamids, and metaphys are by far the best f2p decks and all KOG worthy. Yosenjus were by far the easiest KOG runs of my life and people consistently sleep on them. Tenki unnecessary but that card gives it a boost that it doesn’t even need

I don‘t know about you guys but I totally dislike the way the game has evolved over the past years. It really has become a „I play my whole deck in my first turn“ type of game. I‘m missing the fun of a duel that lasts longer than 5 turns. The effects of many of the new monsters are super overloaded which makes a lot of the old cards completely obsolete.
