The UK based manufacturer Farer has announced four new dress watches with cushion form cases. These timepieces combine some nice colors as green and salmon with Swiss made movements and cases.

I have owned the Oxley GMT for the last three years. Build quality and movment are way beyond its price. I have now just ordered the Stanhope. I have many lovely watches much more exspensive and Farer are right up there! I think Farere are no longer a micro brand, rather like Baltic. Very high quality, for me.

Agree that the crown on the Mansfield is a bit loud given the clash with the dial and strap color. Perhaps they’ll make the quick fix with the 2nd batch

Very nice. The size would definitely work for me and my larger wrist. The issue is spending this much for a watch I can't wear without a much longer quality strap ( hint, 😉). Really like the case design here though.

Hi Tim, a few years ago I liked the Farer Oxley GMT but its case could have been better. Now these new models improve that aspect with their nice cushion cases. At least visually, they seem to be well-made timepieces and they have an interesting price for Swiss Made watches. I would choose the model shown at 2:52. Very seventies. Greetings from Chile!

They are selling out the copper is gone, it feels like these designs cushion cases, hand wound, are coming back or actually just finding their way to collectors. Mostly my entire collection is hand wound and not surprised that people would gravitate to these pieces. I wear radiomir with a cushion case and it is large yet it feel better then smaller watches.

I’m not a fan of watch of the week being a watch that isn’t actually out yet. Surely the review could have waited until it could actually show one on the wrist - especially given so much emphasis on how much bigger these can look than their size suggests. Nice design and may be amazing, but also may turn out to be a dud in the flesh. Without actually getting your hands on one the review seems a little hollow.

yes it is a very nice looking watch yes there is quality yes the company is well know ,but i refuse to be tricked by the beauty of a watch verses the value= even tho it is a dress watch because of the high price i think the farer co should have offered more in regards to the water rating the risk is too high for possible damage...p.s. good work on the video pic tim...

Excellent finishing, specifications and price point but 5ATM is a turn-off for me. I know it's a dress watch but they could have done better. I also think the design is not new and for the same price I prefer to buy a Moels and Co. that has a novel design and water resistance of 10ATM.

Dear Tim, being a stickler, please allow me to correct you. Cushion is pronounced "Kuschen", not "Kaschen". Other than that: A very nice review on some very nice watches.
