Fortunately, either/or is not my thing when I can embrace both. Peace, Mate! Postscript: "If it ain't broke let's sell it some more and make some cash." "LeBois are back in town!" "I like things!" Expensive things want to "kick me out of my home and break up my marriage." HAHAHAHAHAHHAH! "Those bevels gleam like freshly laid snail-trails along the edges of the movement." "They've stuck a big label in the back so CHRISTOPHER WARD doesn't lose it." "and those who know me best, know I don't use exponents lightly." Post-postscript: I'm trying to stop this. Really I am!

I gotta that the Tufina Paragon Calendar just blows my mind. It's a world's timer with the timezone rotating *inside* behind the dial, allowing to display perpetual calendar dials AND a date wheel, making it the second world's timer with date display in the world... it's all mechanical, in-house movement, and all of this for under 800 US. I know Tufina had one problem, and that is the fact they have a catalogue as tacky as a hublot X bulova collab would be, but BOY are their movements INSANE and completely unique in their price category, and THIS one could change everything. Plus a portion of your money goes to a good cause every time you buy! Class brand.
@SlCKB0Y-sb1kg6 ай бұрын
That Farer looks amazing for the price and looks particularly nice on the bracelet. I was legitimately surprised by the low cost. The Fears definitely has some Aqua terra influence and the bracelet, side profile, really sharp bevels and lines reminds me of Monta level quality for a similar price.

I lust for a Journe or a Roger Smith, but that ain't gonna happen in our particular version of reality, so this coverage of *reasonably* affordable (at least, to a collector) is welcome. I have a gold-colored Bel Canto on order (BTW I just got an email that it's been pushed from July to October due to a supplier quality issue), and I'm lusting for one of the C Ward moon watches, or maybe the Ophion 786 that I just became aware of this morning. I can no longer see any point of spending more than $5K on a watch unless you're rich, and I'm not. BTW congrats on stepping out to your own "gig". Best of luck with that! I know you might not like brands that used to be or do a lot of homages, but the new san martin original designs are ridiculous value for money. The steel finishing is insane for the money. My stone dial watch is nutty value. I recently handled a bunch of tudor, oris and Hamilton. This watch matches the steel finishing or gets extremely close with ease. The handset is a bit cheap but the dial, indices, case and bracelet are exceptional. I know you're highlighting China, so i think they are worth a shout out. Or seagul for that matter is doing some great things. Plus they have history and heritage to boot.
