*NEW* Droideka Destroyer Droid (Star Wars Black Series) REVIEW

The engineering and sculpt work on this figure is absolutely next level. It’s amazing the way they have been able to realize the complicated assembly of mechanical elements that this character design represents in a shrunken down 6” plastic action figure. It’s truly unlike any other action figure in any line ever made. As of right now this is the figure of the year for me and is the first new figure in a couple of years to crack my black series all time top 10. It’s just outstanding.

I received 3 of these today and I'm in awe, what an amazing figure to see, pose and/or fiddle with. This is figure of the year material, but it's going to be a tough battle with Ki-Adi-Mundi and the SBD, and who knows if Hasbro surprises us with that new Maul and perhaps an Anakin (or 2) from the Ahsoka flashbacks? I gave up watching this on my phone and have switched to the lounge TV to see what you're doing properly... Good bloody grief... This thing looks phenomenal... 😮 An absolute feat of engineering... I thought the Super Battle droid was good, but that's almost a statue by comparison. Loved the sound fx!! ❤ 😊 Is that a channel first? Pew-pews!!

Annihilation!!! Annihilation!!! Annihilate things!!! Finally got 2 of these yesterday.... Hooray!! I think I was "World Last!!" 😅😅 with this one. I haven't had time to look yet as I've just spent about 14 hours re-doing a section of my sw room today, to shoehorn my Star Destroyer Bridge diorama into a space that by all normal thought, wouldn't fit. Excellent review Sir, and I look forward to having a fiddle with them.

Great review. With some fiddling I was able to get a decent wheel mode. I watch EP1 and realize the head extends when in battle mode and retracts for wheel mode. I though it was other way around like you have it.

I personally think the droideka has got to be the most premium Black Series in recent years, maybe even of all time. I did have loose joints in the same areas but I guess that’s a consequence of the weight of the arms and body. Easily fixed with Kiki though.

Very Nice Figure!. I just saw one today in the wild at one of my local GameStop stores- $33 bucks, not bad. I thought about buying it but I don’t really have the space for 2 of them as of now!. Good job on the review Matt. Thanks again for sharing. 👍👊☮️🔥
