Been looking at the Uni for awhile. The wear factor was a total turn off. But this vid moved me to order my first Uni with the Drum and wear plate. Thank you so much! Looking forward to climbing with more CI gear!!

I just ordered mine. Can't wait. I bought my uni about a week before you stopped selling the last version on your website so I never got the chance till now.

Does running it primarily in MRS reduce the wear compared to primarily SRT? I rarely use it for SRT.
@RichardMumford12 ай бұрын
When wrapped wear is reduced and because it is smother with the Drum it allows this, both SRT and moving rope.

Love the desighn amd look of uni.it's very much like the antigravity craft tested in military aapplications.when you hold it up wards and it goes limp.it's almost identical.in form

Great stuff Richard. I I have been contemplating adding a uni to my collection and this may seal the deal for me 👍

Wow! That's quite an improvement. I like how compact it is and that it's midline attachable. I'm looking forward to see it in action in some videos. I heard August Hunicke is working on switching over to the Unicender. Thanks for sharing.

Need this on my new Unicender as I'm new to SRT and it looks like an item that will enhance the life of my device. Thanks for the innovative design!

Looks very nice. I have the original Drum and I'm quite happy with it. The tail of the road always swinging out of the device drives me nuts. How well does the lower piece hold the rope in? I have considered "modifying" mine with a pulley and a capture for the tail but haven't. I definitely like the idea of the added wear of the lower piece.

Holds well but I don't do a lot of limb walking with the Uni.
@mattwood99813 жыл бұрын
@@RichardMumford1 alright, I'll give it a try. Seems like even ascending and moving around in the tree I'm always chasing that tail. Thanks for putting out some great products.

@@RichardMumford1 Your mods to the Unicender look like the ducks nuts making this possibly the best mechanical device for SRT work. We're all curious as to how you go about limb walking then if as you say, you don't do a lot of limb walking with the Uni. Simply asked with a view as to working out best all around gear for tree walk, assuming this starts with ascending via SRT. How do you go about limb walking?

Instead of epoxy for temporarily adhering the template, super glue would clean up easier.

I think it's the best .desighn and it grab s,wich for me is what matters.and it's compact size.in comparison to the huge srt' wrooe wrench and runner.have the chicane and it's huge and feels like Legos or not safe" it is.but hard to trust in comparison to uni
