New E-Bike! Samebike LO26 Version 2 | 1st Real Rideout

Ive got the exact "samebike" and very happy with it. I've done around 1500miles in 9 months and it is great value for money. My only gripes are: uncomfortable seat which i have now swapped over. Squeeky brakes (tried everything except pad swap). Wish it had one more top gear because on assist 5 and peddling, you can get a good 26 mph. One more gear and youd get 30. But great bike, great value. Looks like a 2k bike.

I’m the same. I’ve ridden miles on it and yeah my brakes squeak too. I’ll be taking it in for a service at some point in the near future. I’ll get them to put new brake pads in then. See what happens.

@@robtherover I agree. I got the 750w one that comes with a 12.5AH battery but they say on site it's 10.4Ah. Most sites advertise the 750w one with wrong AH as a few people i have asked have a 12.5AH as well. I am well happy with the bike and would pick it again if i needed another.

mine do the same as well as being sambike,Folds in half as well,Not really much difference really in the LO26 vs the LO26 II

The reason for locking forks is it's up to 30% more pedal efficiency. O and I have same bike 80 miles so far in devon

Hi David. I didn’t change the tyres on my samebike. But if you check out the latest video by bubbles way, he changes the rear tyre whilst the cable is still connected. He changed his tyres last year but this time had a puncture. His vid will show you how to do it.

About 30kg I would say. Not light but still handy it folds away.

You left your protective cover on your display, Unsure if you know? Nevermind, You said you are keeping them on. Should watch full video before commenting again lol. Ask the shop to fill your middle suspension with grease when you get disk brake sorted, They shouldn't charge much.

Yeah I’ve taken them off. I ordered one from buy best gear and it never arrived. They said it was ‘lost’ so I ended up getting mine from Amazon. I use it all the time.

@@robtherover That is strange, I had no problems with getting mine. I would've used Amazon but I wanted to use klarna pay in 3 credit. I haven't had a squeaky suspension but only been around 30 miles so keep waiting to hear it. Fingers crossed i don't :) I just wish I knew someone near me to go on bike rides but don't know anyone that has a ebike :( It isn't as fun on your own but I might join a cycling club soon.

@@Neilukuk probably just a glitch in the matrix. The last video I put up I went for a ride with a mate for the first time rather than on my own. It was great fun. 18 miles round Langston harbour on the samebike. Pedal assist 3 all the way. Only used about 7% of battery.

Hi Rob. I've got same bike as you. I too bought it from bubbles way review. Noticed you mentioned that you turned screen down. How do you do that. I want mine brighter. Can't read it when riding

If you press and hold the up and down key together, you get into the settings. Brightness is the first option you come to. Set it from there.

You might need longer seat post ,the samebike one is not very long . Im 5.11 and find it just long enough. My brakes squeal but i like it as it warns walkers your coming

Yeah the saddle was low on that run. I’ve lifted the seat as high as it can go now I think. I’ve also fitted a higher stem now.

Hi there. I haven’t had any problems with my samebike, except the disc brake was rubbing a bit when I got it. I took it to my local bike service centre to fix. They also calibrated the gears.

got the 1st version im in west cornwall so lots of hills and its a doddle i changed my stem and tyres i wanted your rims but i only could get normal spokes but its ok, yes its heavy to get out and ride im 68 now had it a few years i applied in each tyre some green gunk anti puncture stuff and i got a nice touring wide saddle on it. a rack and a top box to put stuff in like your wet weather gear. snacks etc. question ...what tyre pressure do you ride on?

I love my samebike. I’ve put a new stem on since this video and been thinking about getting a better saddle. I usually put about 50Ib’s of pressure in the tyres.

I was a serious cyclist before had not ridden for many years my first trip out was from.penzance to pendeen lighthouse and back ..its hills all the way up I was not even breathing heavy or did not take a drink even ...lol ..when I got home the battery had 40% left ..I used the assistance mainly on 2...or a sharp incline 3 for a short time then I revert to 2

looks good. is it the same DCH-009 17.5 ah battery? the 20lvxd30 has the same battery. is it 48V? how big is the hub motor?

Its a 10ah battery but is upgradeable. It is 48v and it's 500watts. I might look into upgrading the battery at some point.

My 750w lo26 ii is DCH-006 12.5 ah. I think max is 14Ah for this bike, Unless someone knows different? I haven't seen a higher one though.

I’m 6’5” and I fit on it. I have changed the handlebar stem for a higher one. There’s a couple of vids where I film myself riding it from a distance so you might get a better idea.

How many miles would you say you can get from your Samebike on pedal assist?

I rode around my hometown and Langstone harbour (abut 15-16 miles) in pedal assist 3. When I started it was fully charged at 54V. When I made it round it was on 48V. Using the light might affect the battery usage too.
