THEY SHOULD INTEGRATE THE ELECTRONIC AND MECHANICAL VERSION IN ONE VEST. THAT WAY YOU CAN WEAR IR WITH CONFIDENCE IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, BY TURNING ON AND OFF THE ELECTRONIC VERSION, STILL HAVING PROTECTION BY THE MECHANICAL DEPLYER.

@@go72ko that would need two deployment systems, and what happens if both deploy on accident? Does it just blow up?

@@MrBayoumi No because both are just triggers for the single CO2 reservoir. One of those two will activate in certain conditions... Its double safety. If you wanna turn off the electronic to ride wheelies or dirt roads is nice and electronic option to ride on speed ways.

I’m torn between L or XL size… I don’t have any chance of trying it on (not sold locally). Measurements and size guide give me confusing messages. Is there any recommendation to pick the right one? I live in a very summery place so I will wear a light summer jacket 10months a year (so not bulky) under the vest. Thanks…

I usually wear M, but found the Helite e-Turtle too big. Had to return it and get an S. 178cm / 65kg So I believe they run a bit big, even accounting for the jacket below.

Le concept du capteur sur la fourche devrait etre standard a tout les airbag! Remplacement facile de la recharge alors que alpine star c'est 300 balles a chaque déclenchement... C'est dommage qu'il ne protège pas les épaules. Mais il a vraiment l'air de faire le taff !!

Provided that my normal jacket or race suit is designed/tailored with enough room/expansion joints to accommodate this vest unrestricted in the fully deployed state, could I theoretically wear this underneath my gear?

Very nice, but I am wondering why the Hi-Viz version costs $250 more than the black version? Is yellow fabric really that much more expensive, or is this just a cash grab? My guess is that it's just a cash grab. Shame on you!

It's a neat technology, but all the logos make it look kind of lame. I use the mechanical version, but I've always hated the gaudy logos and such. The giant AIRBAG SYSTEM logo is the worst part.
