I'm already in the YPP, but this is a great step forward in making KZbin and more creator-friendly platform. Now PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR ALGORITHM to make it possible for smaller channels to be discovered by more people. This is still one area where TikTok reigns supreme, but YT treats creators a lot better, so, if YT could make their algorithm work as well as TikTok's, KZbin would explode with more growth than ever before. That is great news! Can you also consider this as well: Content creators who are not apart of the partner program should have the ability to limit (turn off) KZbin short remixes on a KZbin short that has been posted. It shouldn’t take having to delete the short completely to then stop someone from using the content in a remix. Why have the permissions changed to remove the ability for ALL content creators to select “no” to remixing? A content creator who is not apart of the YPP shouldn’t have to delete the entire short for any remixes to be removed, especially considering once doing so, it would impact future copyright claims as the original content would have to be permanently deleted to disallow a remix. Please bring back the option for ALL creators to be able to remove/limit remixing on their content!

As a new content creator, I find it appalling that we are unable to change the thumbnails of our short videos after posting them on the platform. Having to consistently repost content just to get a better-looking cover image is not only frustrating but also causes us to lose progress towards monetization. Additionally, the inconvenience of only being able to choose a thumbnail from the mobile app and not from a PC further compounds the issue. I sincerely hope that the platform addresses this limitation soon and provides a more user-friendly solution to edit thumbnails without having to repost the entire video. Such an enhancement would significantly improve the overall experience for creators and encourage a more seamless process for sharing engaging content. Kind regards,

This is cool. I need to be more proactive with my channel but I wish there was more of a platform of pushing smaller channels. I usually search something and then sort by newest uploads and thats how I find new channels but I wish it was more accessible in the algorithm to showcase newer channels naturally. I still have a hard time getting new and fresh videos because KZbin always likes to show me videos I have watched before and it's rare to see some new content in my feed.

After putting in so much hard work to get subs, it still took me 4 years to get monetized. The whole process is very mentally stressful. I could not stay consistent enough, and basically gave up.😢 These new standards should have BEEN in place. I am glad that now, newer and smaller channels have a much better chance of getting paid for their hard work.❤

As long as they don't reduce watch hours, what they're doing is meaningless for new channels. The most difficult is to collect 3000 hours. They need to bring it down to 500. I have 1 million views. There are still only 350 hours left. It takes several years to collect 3000 hours. Unfortunately, it is not possible to cover the expenses after earning money.

KZbin advertises on my videos and refuses to pay me because I do not have enough watch time.

It took me 30 days to get from 0 subscribers to 97,000 and I was earning £200-£300 everyday, it was amazing I got so lucky, then the algorithm just turned on me and stopped recommending all my videos and now I make nothing and applying for jobs in factories again :( KZbin giveth, KZbin taketh away

Hi, I'm a bit confused. Is the first step where I should just put the video out there and after it gets so many views then click earn and this will allow me to get into the YPP program or do I set it up first, so that Google knows I want to monetize my video? I am running into a situation where I click earn and it tells me "We'll let you know when you're eligible" and right below it "apply now", but the link doesn't work.....I have another thought. I have the settings to private so I could review and fix it. Would that make a difference? Thanks so much!.......I just clicked on some more buttons and read it again and it says they want you to have an active adsense account first. Which comes first and how do I go about it? Thanks.

Oh this rules! I’ve been part of the Partner Program for a few years already but it’s been absurdly difficult for my friends to get close to that threshold. Lowering it is so good. It would be nice to have a KZbin partner program that screens channels early, to see if they’ll even qualify for YPP when they meet any of these or the standard criteria. There are some channels that work hard for over a year, finally meet criteria, only to find out they don’t qualify for YPP.
