Im such a fan of the Jib + Head + Pan Pro combo, since getting it, it made my workflow in the last couple of videos so much easier, especially shooting all the necessary B-Roll. It is a heavy investment into the Business, but its something worth while, probably even the best investment so far.
@AnimeZone2472 жыл бұрын
cant you incoproate the sliderone as well? So it's the jib + head + pan + slider
@LeechTM2 жыл бұрын
@@AnimeZone247 i dont think this will work, 1. It could not be balanced on a tripod and would topple over. 2. I dont think that the Slider and the Jib can be combined, since both are Base Products to be build upon.

I think I remember there is a setting on Sony’s camera that can smooth out/adjust the speed of focus acquisition. That may help smooth out the hard focus pull you see on these “focus by wire” lenses. Check your auto focus settings on your camera body. 🤔

Good review and SmallRig now sells SmallRig 4302 adjustable "hard stops" for (standard) 13.2-width rubber gears. This means that the unit will work for “focus by wire,” non-hard stop “infinite focus lenses.”edelkrone will only honor the warranty if the device in question was bought directly from them.

Hi Adam! Thank you very much for this video. Please tell me if I can use this slider on live streaming? Is it possible to make a loop mode so that the slider automatically changes targets on three objects? I want to do a music translation where goal 1 is a 1st person, goal 2 is a 2nd person, goal 3 is a guitar. I think it will turn out to be something very cool. And I also have an idea to use Edelkrone FocusPLUS Pro, just not to change the focus, but to change the zoom. I don't know if it will work or not, but it would be incredibly great

If I am starting out with these rigs, which is the best way to go? At first I thought you would say the JIbone and Pan Pro (and maybe Focus Plus were enough, but then you went on to include the other set up of Slider Plus V5, Head Plus V2 and the Motion Module V3. I'm kind of confused on which system to start with.

The Company has a german name and is registered as the edelkrone EU GmbH in Langen, Germany. They're a german company through and through he propably got something mixed up. Edit: Until further investigation the company seems to be founded in Turkey in fact. They just handle trade and Copyright Ownership through their respective location throughout the World: edelkrone EU GmbH for the european market, edelkrone USA Inc. for the north american market etc. not unusual for companys of bigger sizes although the brand name could be considered a bit misleading imo i just wonder where manufacturing takes place

@@AdamDuffArt You would be right, but in this particular case the odds are against you :D . I purchased the Edelkrone zoom module. But the lens is Nikon Z 24-70 2.8F. Their customer service said (If a focus ring on a lens has number/indicators, you can use Focus/Zoom Module with the lens. However, if the ring does not have indicators, that means it is controlled by wire(electronically) and in that case it is incompatible with Focus/Zoom Module.) So do I need to buy cinema lenses? Or should I go to the website recommended by this blogger to buy gear? kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5PKZYeoirOcgcU
