A few things after using it for a bit. The Pan PRO does not support Time-Lapse, Stop Motion and 360 mode because it does not have a shutter release cable port. Edelkrone did say that they were working on a solution to use those modes but could give me no update as to when it might be done. Also, as a standalone unit it does not save more than 3 poses...you need to pair it with a slider, jib, dolly to have access to 6 poses. Both of these issues have created problems for me in using the Pan PRO. And I didn't even get a t-shirt or a JibOne bag for my JibOne to sharing this :p

I notice quite a bit of shake at the start of each jib move would you say this is something you can fix with setup or acceleration control or do you just have to live with it?

Im looking for something to replace my Action and Target modules. Head one v1 and 2 were hugely disappointing. Looking at the Pan pro now to hold a ZcamF6. Unfortunately this review doesn't give me enough detail for my purposes, but it does show this jib one set up isn't up to pro standards. Blaming Auto focus for the wobbles is fine but why not redo it to show it is the auto focus and not the flimsy edelkrone products that cause it?

Adam, I have loved your edelkrone videos and they really convinced me to pick up some of their products. What's the payload capacity with the JibONE and the Pan PRO? I'm trying to figure out what camera combos I can use. I've heard 5lbs which seems super limiting. I have the headPLUS V2. I'm not sure if that's what the bulk of the weight is. Like if I went with the combo you have here, could I use something bigger and more robust than my R5?

It’s pretty solid - but I’d definitely check the specs to make sure you aren’t burning out the motors

I really like your videos, I just wish you had a greater depth of field as the blurriness in the background is very distracting but the content is great, can you tell me the model number of that video tripod that you’re using at the start? Maybe an M 50 or something like that I just can’t quite see thanks

This review is to detailed. Thank you. Can I use the Pan Pro with any other brand of slider? Also, can I use it to get the follow-pan effect with the slider?
@AdamDuffArt3 жыл бұрын
Im not sure if you can, but possibly - but you will need the Edelkrone app or remote to control the inputs of it specifically, so I personally wouldn’t recommend it

Pan Pro provides a turntable to do 360s but does not allow to turn the table 360 deg indefinitely. You need to keep turning a couple of turns and then save the key.

Thanks, cool products to watch! :) Also, is there some kind of irony behind that autofocus that is constantly off?.. Like, "hey, I've $30k+ equpment, but LOOK AT THIS ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS! OMG, they're amazing!" Anyway, thanks, nice stuff :D

So whats the difference between , not sponsored and getting sent a free gift.. kind of like corporations do to politicians?, I did read a lot of these comments on issues, but no reply's would that be a typical politician act?... Great video BTW.Love the reply for Justin Allen question..
@AdamDuffArt3 жыл бұрын
That’s a good point - and yes of course - if a company is willing to send you a freebie, that can definitely encourage someone to only speak the positive in hopes to get more freebies. That really comes down to the integrity of the creator. In my case, I look at it as putting my own reputation on the line. If I talk my audience into buying something that turns out a buggy useless waste of money, then my credibility and reputation is shot and nobody will trust me moving forward. I come from the mindset that “product reviews” isn’t what my channel is primarily about. I get solicited by companies daily to promote their products - I generally ignore the majority of them. So - if you hear me talking about something on my channel, it’s because I know it well, use it regularly and love it period. The same goes for every product I promote That way I don’t burn myself out with all of these reviews and get to indulge in helping companies I love grow - so I 1000% stand behind every word I shared in my review - these products are stellar and I mean it.

Why on earth does this need to be in 4K
@p-r-i-v-a-t-e2 жыл бұрын
I wish all that you said worked just like that in practice. I have almost all of their products and there are plenty of issues the biggest two being the focus module that is always late and is never accurate. And the second issue is that it is very shaky. No matter what you do you need to do heavy stabilization. But the shake is so bad that even after stabilization the video gets distorted quite often. I have them sitting in my studio for a few years already. Honestly I was so excited when purchasing it but very disappointed ever since.

There is a lot of shakiness …Honestly, in the video sample at the end, the move is not smooth and is jittering all the time. Last images of the mouse and recorder are very evident. If this is the autofocus, then the gear us not sturdy enough, IMO… Or maybe is just a post issue, due to the change is speed, I don’t know… anyhow, thanks for the review…
