Watching all the interviews leading up to the miniseries, a lot of us have wondered why we haven't seen Ralph or Johnny as much as BBD and Bobby. A lot of us were also hoping for a new New Edition album along with the miniseries. In one of the BBD interviews, Rick said that a new NE album was the original plan (as opposed to the BBD album) but it just fell through. In his WOF speech here, he could have been hinting at some of the business conflicts the group may have had over the past year....I don't know. As a fan, I just want to see them put out just one more album with all 6 of them....just one more....and I'll be happy.

Whatever issues Ralph and the others had before the NE movie aired have seemingly been cleared up and/or put aside as NE will be recording a brand new album to accompany a tour as well as releasing a greatest hits album www.tmz.com/2017/01/27/johnny-gill-new-edition-album-tour/ . The airing of the NE movie reportedly help to heal a lot of wounds and remind the fellas about OP forming the group. Ralph sacrificed a lot that the other group member were unaware of like Maurice Starr wanting to sign him to a solo deal but he held out for the rest of the fellas. Mike Bivins said that he didn't know that nor did Ron or Ricky because Ralph never told them before. Hopefully they can recognize that they are stronger together rather than apart as each member has a role to play within NE.

They did get one about two years ago or so. NKOTB and NE don't have beef despite what some think. NKOTB always give props to NE for laying the foundation. They had nothing to do with NE's issues or lack of financial success, most of them also came from very poor backgrounds and were just some kids from Boston who loved to sing and dance and wanted to make it, like NE. Loved both groups growing up and till this day.
