I feel like MCA did Ralph the same way Motown did Eddie Kendrick's when he was trying to go solo. Eddie wanted to go solo as early as 1965 but had to stay with the Temptations and do a few more albums until he finally was able to get started in the early 70s. Ralph had to do one more with NE and he also ended up paying a huge price for it. But his solo project was still amazing just the same....It's just unfair how he had to put his plans on hold and everyone else didn't have to
