Really appreciate you Jeff. You really help my decision when buying kits. And I did use your link. Take care my brother. Keep it pushing.😎

A big thumbs up for Phrygian! My favourite variant is "Phrygian dominant" - a scale with 3 semitone steps - how cool is that!

Hi Jef. Nice review once again. Just one note regarding audio recording: while experimenting with my guitar plugged into Maschine + I realized that I could monitor my guitar and applied Fx as the same time, without using two groups as you mentioned. Just select Monitoring "off" on the sampling options, go to "Channel Midi", "Sound" and select audio source "In1L" or whatever input you're using. Et voila! I think it works exactly the same with Maschine + Guitar Rig on a computer.

We need more R&B expansions

I’d love some that are more loop focussed. We have tons of great kits now, but I can’t get enough good keys, synth, brass, strings loops for rnb and hip hop!

Very King Fish sounding. Was a club back in the day that played a lot of Electro funk stuff like this.

Best maschine content creator on youtube, thank you for your hard work and dedication to help others! Ive been trying to use vst plugins such as analog lab, serum and others but i cannot get sounds like pads to cut each other off when on keyboard mode. I know this can be done by group choke mode turning polyphony to 1. Is there any other way cut off sound from vst? again thank you so much for all your hard work.

Great Video as always Jef! I noticed someone else mention it and I agree, more NI R&B expansions would be great, especially a kit focused around the 90's in the style of Teddy Riley, Keith Sweat, Jodeci (Devante), Jagged Edge etc. Also a G-Funk expansion would be awesome but its probably not a popular genre these days.

Satin Looks 👀 Oozes everything you asked for! 🎯 (& to a lesser extent, “Soul Magic”)
@andrewsalas11542 жыл бұрын
@@djCatScanRL I have Satin looks but I didn’t think it was based around 90s too much, I’ll give it another listen. You hear G Funk in Satin looks?
@djCatScanRL2 жыл бұрын
@@andrewsalas1154 I think even in Satin’s description, has that ‘90s/early 2000s R&B sound. Try Electric Touch, too. Soul Magic for that short-lived “New Jack Swing” era of the (Very) early 1990s feel. Honorable Mention to ‘Midnight Sunset’ -G Funk? Try Platinum Bounce, Marble Rims, &/or Magnetic Coast. Also the more Drum-heavy DJ Khalil. Sry, bit of an Expansion junkie lol. Enjoy creating & have a Safe summer! 🔊

I like the hip hop and R&B Kits. If we look though all the kits you will see more dedicated to other genres than hip hop. Although when I listen to the demos on the website, I hear a lot of Planet Rock copies. This kit is not my cup of tea. You always do a great review though.
@jefgibbons2 жыл бұрын
The hip hop stuff is definitely my fave too…
@joeymc52722 жыл бұрын
Seems like NI dedicated more to electronic and cinema scores than other genres. I wish they would put some solely dedicated hiphop/trap expansions that dont have a few kits and presets in expansions that are usable for trp/hh while the rest is not. Problem is i don’t know of any other suite software that offers this kind of content.
@SCMESD2 жыл бұрын
@@joeymc5272 I agree with you bro. A few Hip Hop Kits are sprinkled in there.

For years we didn't have anything on machine for the hip hop genre making producers and it was all electronic, so I don't know what people are complaining about!🤨
@jefgibbons2 жыл бұрын
True!
@730productionsllc2 жыл бұрын
But what bothers me about this is when people begged them for hip hop expansions it took them forever to do it. But as soon as people cry for MORE electronic kits they jumped on it quick. Kind of one-sided Native Instruments. You guys based your your whole introduction of Maschine on hip hop then abandoned it for a long time with occasionally releasing one hip hop expansion but majority of your catalog is based on electro, edm, club expansions.

When i watch you throw down beats and run through hardware seamlessly, i literally want to quit production lol.
