I used to have a BIG bias against using loops. Got over that about a year and a half ago. I just wanted to do something different, so I made myself do different things with loops. And it hit me... when I was in a big city with lots of talented musicians, I would hire session cats to come in all the time and contribute their creativity. This is nothing different. Except I have absolutely no shortage of cats.

Recording the chord sets, then resampling them to pads was such a good trick!

@@jefgibbons Truth be told, I was wondering if you’d give us a lil sneak peak, I think it’s Blezz Beats. At least I hope it is. Lolz. Also, some more feedback on the video, the part at then end when you converted the chords into audio and then chopped them using the sampler, very creative. While I chop loops all the time I never thought of exporting to audio and then chopping. Thanks for the tip!

You must have relative pitch, that’s how you can figure out the keys that some of the sound packs are in.

3:57 does it work with Maschine Mikro Mk3? I see when you press the 1st pad, the second is already blinking, on my controller it does not happen. If I press the 2nd pad why the 1st is playing, it just jumps to the 2nd sound, which is empty and nothing happens

When I scroll through instruments and sample packs on my Maschine I get massive delays on the screen. Gets super frustrating after a while. Do you know what the problem might be?

I don't know man. I rely on NI heavily as a producer but these sounds are pretty boring. They used to be on top of there game in music production land. This sounds to old fashioned to my taste...
