I just purchased a used nanobebe bottle at a thrift store. I sealed the nipple and put in fake milk as I only have one reborn with no drink or wet. I ended up using silicone to seal the bottom of the bottle on as it came off when I picked it up after letting the bottle sit overnight. I like the way the bottom comes off to clean the bottle but not sure if the staying on is a problem with the bottle, the silicone seal that come with that may or may not be damaged, just not sure. Had not seen the new bottle but think I will eventually purchase one. I usually wait til they are at my local thrift store. I got 3 of the nanobebe for half price so paid $3 and I got a bag of Medala bottles for $1.50 half price day. Deciding what to do with the extra bottles as I am only keeping one of the nanobebe and a couple of the others especially the smallest.

While their may be a small fraction of people who get these dolls for therapeutic purposes, most buy them because we are doll collectors & enjoy the hobby. In my experience in the hobby. Those who I've seen who have gotten these dolls for therapy "like loss of a child" do so in conjunction with therapy. I suppose it depends on the individuals' health insurance, but the dolls themselves are costly, so most who purchase them are going to be doll enthusiasts who appreciate the art. Hope that answers your question 🥰

I have a silicone I use for therapy with Alzheimer’s and dementia residents. I only have one, so I’m not a collector at all. Hope this helps as well.

100% agree. This is actually quite disturbing and certainly lends credence to the importance of increasing access to mental health therapy.

@mskatm1814 Are you suggesting that people who enjoy hobbies are in need of more access to mental health services? Personally, I find it odd that people take their time to watch & comment on videos they are not enjoying. I prefer to spend my time on things I enjoy. Viewing a KZbin channel that's set up to entertain others with acting doesn't at all give you an accurate picture of someone's life or mental health. It's like watching a TV show & saying the actor or actress needs metal help because of the role they play in the show. I happen to be a well-rounded person. I'm a 47 yr old buisness owner & mother of 4. I have a full & busy life. This is my hobby. It's my little "escape" to do something I enjoy. I'm also an alcoholic sober 16 years old. I counsel women & families in my local community. I work with social workers & community centers to help those struggling with addiction. My youngest child is on the autism spectrum. So I also happen to feel very strongly that people should not be mocked due to their mental health. As a mother, it's offensive to see people using the internet to mock & judge others. Those who have that kind of time on their hands very well may be lacking something in their own life. So I will only say, "Don't be so quick to judge others." Just because you don't understand something doesn't make it wrong. I take a shot that some folks may just not understand & hope that my efforts in explaining make sense. It's unfortunate to see this stigma placed on a hobby so many people enjoy. Kind Regaurds, Tasha

Theirs a wide rage depending on the quality & artist. Roughly anywhere between $2000 to upwards of 20k . The doll in this video was 10k new from the artist. I got him on the secondary market. That was 5 years ago. Her edition babies now goes for a lot more. But you can find silicones for less. I want to say, on average, around $5000 If your interested in learning more I have a playlist on shopping for dolls as well as a learning the hobby playlist. Hi Jackie, I did a lot of fun research on this bottle on Emulait's website. The nipples are medical grade silicone. So they are completely safe for our silicone dolls. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing my sweet Oscar try our new bottle!! I've already got another video filmed using the bottle I sealed. It looks really nice! You're going to LOVE these bottles! 🥰

I’m wondering why we have grown adults playing dolls, confused at what sex they are, men trying to breastfeed? What is this world coming to. Kids acting like grown ups and adults acting like children. Talk about messed up role play!!

Well, I'm certainly not a man trying to breastfeed & the four children I've raised most certainly know what sex they are! We are likely from the same generation raised to respect our parents, teachers, elders & law enforcement. When kids played outside, helped with chores & spoke with respect. So I absolutely understand where you're coming from. This is just a hobby. A more expensive version of what we did enjoy as kids. Just like some boys who grew up loving to build model cars now have the real thing to drive to shows & share with their friends. Or the kid who loved cooking & would help mom in the kitchen & loved their Betty Crocker oven, who grew up to cook as a hobby because it's something they still enjoy & maybe share their cooking & recipes on KZbin for others who love to cook. These dolls are not toys. Their works of art. It's an amazing art form that the serious doll enthusiasts enjoy. We're all a kid at heart in one way or another. As long as your adult responsibilities are in order, why shouldn't we enjoy hobbies? The role play may look "silly," but it's just acting & entertainment. It's time out of a busy Mom's work schedule to enjoy something for herself. Whether you enjoy yoga, cooking, collecting stamps, or rock climbing, hobbies are a healthy part of a well rounded adults life. I wholeheartedly agree that the world seems to have gone upside down. However, I assure you that this is not that. Theirs this stigma placed on dolls, yet no one bats an eyelash at remote planes that really fly, cars that race, sports that are played , high-end handbags people buy , gym memberships extra.... Hopefully, that makes a little more sense Thank you for sharing your thoughts 🥰
