No worries Renee, I usually forward through adds but somehow you have a way of making them ok, if not enjoyable to watch ! You truly have a talent !!! Those motor installations were quite impressive, those guys had it together!!! One question, did you take the boat for a test run before sealing up the holes ? Blessings

It's not just Surfshark. It's the relentless shilling of all kinds of products - Ullman Sails, multihullsnets, PYI, BRNKL, Vetus, Highfield, Mercury, SIMRAD, etc. The episode felt like one giant advertisement with a brief engine install thrown in the middle.
@hxhdfjifzirstc8948 ай бұрын
@@Brian30233 Huh? I guess this family is just supposed to foot the bill for your entertainment entirely out of their own pockets? I can't imagine the cost of one new engine, let alone two... Some people seem to have an unusual amount of entitlement, when it comes to free entertainment.

One of the great things about Jack is how he seems dedicated to help his dad and learn how to do all these mechanical and electrical connections. He will definitely have to draw on this experience one day and it will help his become a great captain in work experience and not just name only. Happy Journey Jack.

Ignore those posters who say, “I already saw that on Finn’s channel” or “I already saw that on Jack’s channel,” etc. What makes it even MORE INTERESTING is seeing the same topic covered by different members on Zatara and seeing the same scenarios through other eyes/different perspectives. Keep up the great and interesting work. I look forward to all your posts, as well as those from Finn, Jack, Luke, Glory, etc. Thank you for sharing your journey with the rest of us who can only dream about doing what you do, due to health issues, lack of finances, etc.

I was wondering what the captain used to do before he set sail on zatara. Being from Texas I assumed oil patch of some kind. He mentioned oilfield I episode and confirmed my suspicion. Myself was on rigs for 23yrs and seeing how mechanically inclined he was I knew it was oilfield experience. Although I could not sail a boat and maintain it like this captain! Well done brother

As a draftsman, I draw complex machinery assemblies with drive motors, right angle gearboxes, limit switches, pillow block bearings etc., that all tie together to make bridges go up and down or swing side to side. Before I start each job, I get what's called a cut sheet for each component. That gives me all the relevant dimensions I need to draw the various steel base assemblies at the correct heights and locations for each component accurately so that all the shafts and associated hardware line up properly. The cut sheet for that engine would have provided the dimensions before the engines were ever on site. That could have saved you some time and maybe a bit of frustration by knowing what had to be done beforehand. You could request the cut sheet(s) for that model engine and keep it on file just in case you need the info in the future.

With that said, Yanmar does provide easily downloadable CAD models from their website. I'm sure it's just one of those things.... do the planning up front and get it right, or just get after it and find out by doing. There is virtue in both but as I get older, the pre-planning seems to be winning for me more.

The affection your son shows for his girlfriend is completely natural, a result of the love and guidance you've given him. Relationships like this are a normal part of growing up, and it’s clear you've raised him with strong values like respect and empathy. While some may have opinions, what's important is that he's expressing love in a healthy and genuine way. You’ve done an amazing job as parents, and his ability to care for others reflects the positive foundation you’ve provided.
