This is pretty much my dream car. I am a huge fan of the show but this is pretty much my favorite because of the Plum Crazy Challenger. I would like to change some of it and I am one of them people who like stock original. I would love to be able to see one in person and it would be a dream to have one. I think this is an amazing show I watch it all the time and I cannot share my excitement over the fact it's now on KZbin.

I do appreciate that Marks team brings back to life old mopar cars. Will is a fantastic painter. He is definitely my favorite goul. Someday I want to get down to Springfield . the painter is generally the last guy to leave the shop at the end of the day.

I love watching these Videos Mark you make me laugh, Back in the day when I came home on leave from boot camp I bought my first mopar was a 69 dart 340 coupe bench auto, it cost me $40.00 in gas one way from portland to san diego I was stationed at sub base point loma , on base we had a auto shop I bought a 70 GTX 440 six pack it had the pistol grip shifter and the Air grabber hood scoop I think in paid 300.00 for it it needed a rebuild on engine . I could go on but won't waist your time

Many years ago, I bought a Plum Crazy & Black, 1970 Challenger T/A from Jeff Bobst in Iowa. The 340 SixPak was long gone but that was fine with me. My plan wasn't to restore it to factory new but to RestoMod it into my vision of what Mopar should have offered back in the day ... but didn't. Plum Crazy with a Red interior and Red T/A stripes (call me Crazy). I was mixing and matching parts with my 1991 ZR-1 Corvette. The T/A was going to have the 600+ HP, LT5 with its 6 speed trans done by Aaron Scott at South Georgia Corvettes. The ZR-1 was getting a blown, 426 Hemi I had gotten from Otto Candies way back in the 70's to run at our local track just for fun. A gentleman who wishes to remain anonymous, made me an offer I couldn't refuse and I sold the car before the conversion to Red was done. (Yep ... certifiably Crazy). So ... if the good Lord gives me a few more years, I hope to have a (you guessed it) Plum Crazy & Red T/A in the garage soon ... Skal, ^v^

In this episode of Rainman Mechanic ...The color purple. This is an interesting show when it doesn't look too closely at the nuts that bolt these old cars? (rust buckets) back together. More focus on the mechanics and less on the unique personalities and eccentricities - which we are just fast-forwarding over 100%. I was surprised to see the owner and his wife driving without seat belts? That would make me nervous :)

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!!
