Growing up was a ford family never had a Dodge or Chrysler watching the show has given a new respect thank you All remember as a kid was that crazy starter sound lol

Yeah working fr Mark- nup. Everything I've seen he's an asshole. Talks to his workers like dirt. I wouldn't last 2 seconds there before telling him to get fucked. Calls his cameraman a blimp cos he's heavy. And always years late finnishing. That roadrunner that the bloke ended up dying before he could drive it. Got to see it once cos they were YEARS late.

You need to contact him directly. How about starting your own shop? I'll join you! We need a metal guy. Paint guy. Perfectionist that is highly observant and pays close attention to detail. A parts locator person. And a couple drivetrain guys. I think it will work.

I often felt that all 4 of the RT show cars should be reproduced in 1:18 scale die cast. What a cool collection to have on the shelf in the man cave.

The differences between tire profiles were actually for profile stance on the higher level models compared to the cheaper versions. Clearance wasn't even thought of back then. The stagger was found to improve handling and is still used in some model builds.

Some other cars that came from the factory with asymmetrical tire sizes front to rear include the 1986-1988 Fiero GT, and the 1988 Fiero Formula.

I believe the reason it has 2 options is due to whatever the assembly line had available. Either of them would be used depending on availability as the fiberglass ones were being fazed out. Therefore it was listed with both hood options.

And the race TA small block six paks were destroked to 305ci so it's even less displacement. But yeah they had a wilder cam in em fr racing.

Some vin build codes very between one model to another on the same exact model and the reason why is option build codes can include multiple codes do to additional added option added to the particular vehicle in the assembly build prior to assembly. Chrysler still makes this error on some units. I actually own one currently and it is a 2012 SRT 392 Challenger six speed. There is three different options on the build sheet that shows it was scheduled for an automatic transmission and the interior was supposed to have had a different color floor carpet. The funniest part is that I personally ordered this vehicle myself to be built and thankfully it was correct when it arrived. I my also add that I am a 5th generation UAW Chrysler employee retiree plant location 5305. KTP. So even though these imperfections do happen, it's not a common thing. Thankfully.

Trans Am ci limit was 5 litres, so how were these homoglation cars with 340 motors? There is a reason, which I have forgotten.

ford was first to have in dash 8 track player in the 1966 mustang, Chrysler debut 8 track in 1967

$1800 for the coronet was a lot of money for it back then. It was just another used up muscle car to most people, had no clue how rare or that they would be worth so much now. Back then you ran like hell from a used Mopar lol

In the 70 Trans Am series both Chrysler and Gm got their asses handed to them by Ford and Amc .

Indeed. Compared to the serious race hardware Ford and GM were putting out at that time Chrysler was building cartoon cars.

Did anybody have a thought that it was a employee purchase car and things were hidden to cut insurance. My grandfather told stories from gm that were not what they said they were on paper like get a highest level gto labaled as a Lemans.

Nick Panaritis takes a year to build a car all original, time it's dropped off to finish. And he runs a whole mechanic shop. You need to hurry up and stop taking yeeeeesaaars over to Finnish em. These are people's loves and pride and joy you're keeping away from them.

Nick also sends them out for different things and only does one at a time,gyc has alot more going on than that. Don't get me wrong Nick's is my fav utube show. His is a different biz.

The front end work on the Rapid Transit car is ugly. I think those front headlight bezels came off a European sporty car like a Jensen. Harry Bradley is famous for designing most of the ‘68 Hot Wheels line.

The parts with Cousin Dougie were good, the rest of the video was kind of dry. I am THRILLED they are going away from the fake drama / stupid humour that the early videos had!
