Hi Taylor, love how well you explain things. As I complete newbie, I do have a question: You said that Etsy automatically renews the listing if a product is sold, is this still applicable even if we toggle the listing to manual renewal? Thanks

Yes that’s correct! The expiration date on the listing will renew each time it’s sold. When a listing is on manual renewal, it will only expire if it hasn’t sold at all in the 4 months the listing is given from the date of listing it :)

Thank you for the tutorial. Have a question: In the old version those who sell POD had to choose Designed by me, Created by another company. However, I cannot see this section in the new version. I think that's important for Etsy to know that the item was created with production partner assistance. Any information on that? Thank you!

You mentioned in the previous version of this video that you could copy the Etsy listing to save yourself time once you've setup the colors and buying options. How does that work exactly? Can you do a video showing what you have to change in the copied listing and how you connect that back to printify?

All you have to update is your SKUs for a listing to connect. If you don’t add in the correct SKUs you’ll still be connected but your orders will show up in the “other orders” tab and you’ll have to manually add in the products.

hey i have a problem for open account with new form its showing me " we are having trouble saving your changes" so how can i fix it ?

Sometimes this is a glitch - usually you can just click save twice and it'll go through

Thanks for this info! One thing you went over pretty fast was the SKU information in the variations form and the numbers connected to that. Where can I find these numbers to fill in in my variations form? They are connected to the products? Thanks!

That depends on the print provider you’re using! With Printify, you can find all of your sku information when you click into the product you created in your printify account.

Also another thing to add, if you’re pushing your products over from Printify or any other print provider to Etsy - the SKUs will automatically be added in. 😀

The concept for the new form with added details of "Core Details" is a great idea. However, it has some serious technical glitches. I am not able to add new listings and after looking on the Tech Issues and Community Forums I see many sellers with the same problem. Etsy has known about the problems for at least a month, but as of this writing has not solved the problem and has not communicated well with sellers. Can't make money for myself (or for Etsy) if I can't post new listings. Does anyone here know more about how to get the form to work? P.S. Thanks for the link to all your videos. Great help!

Wow I didn’t know that! I haven’t had any issues creating new listings in any of my shops - neither has anyone in my mentorship group. Have you tried different browsers? Super frustrating!!

@@TaylorPOD Thanks for your reply. It does seem to be a browser issue with a number of popular browsers including Chrome. Safari also didn't work for me. It took loading DuckDuckGo browser to be successful. (I think the form also works on phones and other devices, so some folks aren't noticing the problem. ) There are MANY people complaining on the Etsy forums. Customer service person admitted to me on the phone that they are dealing with many complaints like mine. Unfortunately, the customer service by email was gaslighting me and sellers making it out to be my problem as if I didn't have the right browser! I used Chrome for 7 years and Etsy still recommends Chrome as the best platform. The issue is on their end. Really frustrated that Etsy is playing "radio silence" with sellers. They know it is a problem and they know that we need to try different browsers, but they aren't saying anything. Really lousy care for their sellers, in my opinion.

Never realized there was a new listing form, as I've always had this setup and thought it was the norm. Opened my shop March 21st and uploaded my first product on April 10th from Printful. The only difference was, there wasn't the individual tags along the top as there is now.

For new shops I believe Etsy didn’t give the option for the old form - but for those who have older accounts you could pick whether you wanted to use the new or old form 😀

ive had the option of the old or new one but I started using the new one last year and it was easier. everything flows better. hated when I had inactive items and then it would only show the old form.

It’s mainly just a cosmetic difference! Not much different functionally 😀
