Anyone else want a season of chaos without voting to return next? Maybe some like the voting but I feel as a viewer, it removes the surprise of the effects when we see them for 30 seconds before, it removes the unexpected nature of it. One of the things I really enjoyed about this effect every 250m challenge was the lack of voting, it was a surprise again what effects would happen.

Yeah, honestly one of my favorite things about this was the lack of voting. It made it so the effects are more of a surprise. With voting, you can see what effects will come next, it kind of ruins the surprise and unexpected nature of chaos.

Who knows, maybe it could be set up so every two round would switch between good or bad effects. (1-4 Hesoyam, teleport to waypoint, give all weapons. 5-8 Griefer jesus, all peds are cops, drought etc)

This is way more fun than chat voting for the worst effects possible, and seeing the wasted or mission failed screen 100 times. In my opinion, not being able to see or have a choice in what's coming up improved this game drastically, it's more chaotic that way.

I believe that was the format his first chaos run had, it was a completely random effect every 30 seconds. It wasn't that different from a normal playthrough of the game though since the effects weren't that bad at the time. He decided to have twitch voting afterwards to spice things up. It was fine at first, but then got annoying to watch since it got more popular and more misson-failing effects were added.

I think for a few effects, the timer should be based off distance so it can mess with you even more. For example: when you get virtual reality, you have to travel a certain distance before you are teleported back so you won't just be waiting in one place until it ends and also during that time more effects can also go off.

This is so much more enjoyable with the fully random effects and with all the effects enabled. Way better than the last few seasons of chaos. Why disable stuff like DVD screensaver and turn turtle??? No wonder all the effects chat picks are "spawn [enemy]", "teleport to [place]", and the new ones, which you'll probably disable later too for whatever reason.

the effect duration should also be based on distance. Like an effect that usually lasts only one purple line when they're time-based should only last one distance-based blue line. That way you couldn't just not move & wait it out, and effects that make you move fast aren't as destructive
