Ben are you using motul 20w suspension oil in himalayan .RE recommend 10W grade. If yes please share your experience.

Re uses 5W . i use a 15W or 20W depending on my trips/rides.

those tyre levers are slick .. failed to find them in the market or online but did come across long Allen keys from Taparia which have a ballpoint ( can work a bit tilted) which now the go-to Allen keys. .everything else is the same but unfortunately the Himalayan disappointed me with not having a single breakdown over 14,000 kms and only just a puncture 50 mtrs from a puncture shop :(

you should be one among the lucky ones to have gotten a Himalayan that is WELL PUT UP. all said and done i have no qualms about my bike as well as long as i can work on it ON THE GO . also you will find these tyre levers in your RE tool kit .

@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN well offroading is only a very occasional affair for me ..and having had an Impulse taught me where not to push the Himalayan(it isn't a Dual-sport) ..That said wheel and tank guard was misaligned when I received it ..and I damaged the conset at 7k after very light offroading and then again at 10k because the service guys did a terrible job of fitting it .. but the last time I got it replaced with NTN by a well-renowned Enfield specialist in town ..So I have had my fair share of troubles but not on the road so far ..potentially due to Preventive maintenance tips from your channel and through leuheanrede. you guys should do one live Q&A

cant do a top speed test. the knobby tyres that i run on the bike max out at 133. after that its extremely dangerous with them. the best that i have achieved with my road tyres and mods was 142kmph (solo with 65 kg weight (mine)).
