Spinel is evil, he has no heart in him. He did an unethical experiment with his own pokemon. And the darkest thing in this episode is spinel did left amethio, liko, and their pokemon to a slow yet a painful death in that cave and he do it with a smile on his face. He attempt murder to a literal kid! He's insane!.

Out of all the villains in horizons, spinel is the one who I hate right now because of what he did to his Umbreon. You could tell that his Umbreon was confused at first when it was getting surrounded in that smoke and then as it started to get feral, you could also tell that it was going thru a lot of pain. It’s so messed up on how spinel only sees his pokemon, he doesn’t see his Umbreon as a companion or friend, just nothing but a weapon.

People who have said that Liko is weak failed to relaize that it's not that Liko who is weak, it's just that the opponents she's facing are getting stronger. And her battle against Amethio in this episode shows her and Floragato's growth. Floragato was avoiding all of Ceruledge's attacks and even landing big hits on Ceruledge, and Liko was holding her own REALLY well. And the fact she was able to push Amethio to the point of him needing to Terastallize Ceruledge really shows their growth.

She loses, it's her own fault m that simple And writing female characters should not be so difficult. It's just a cheap excuse the writers have to create a passive weakling at this point. The last female character who took battling more seriously took 3 generations before she was worth anything to most fans

As Horizons progress l want to see Spinel and Chalce betray Gibeon and the explorers by secretly helping the rising volt tacklers towards the beginning and end of the rising Rayquaza arc where he and Chalce spread lies through the explorers causing them to become disoriented and dysfunctional allowing them to be easily defeated by the rising volt tacklers and he also takes Gibeon shiny Zygarde for himself and leaves Gibeon to be defeated by Liko Roy Dot and Amethio after he’s defeated and the explorers arrested Spine and Chalce retire the Kalos region where they arrive at Spinel secret underground base in Geosenge town where they are approached by the three evil Malamar where it’s revealed that they were his Pokémon all along and that there world domination plans in the Kalos region were orchestrated by him and he reveals to Chalce that he is the son of Lysandre and he is joined by his middle brother Guang Ryuga and he has successfully broken Xerosic Aliana Celosia Bryony Mable Zero Kodai Dr Coress Alva out of prison and it’s revealed that Dr Yung and Hunter J are still alive With Yung revealed to have received a burn on the left side of his face after his suppose death as for J it revealed that Spinel recovered her from the bottom of lake Valor but revealed to have heavy and fatal injuries to save her life Spinel had her turned into a Pokémon hunter cyborg and he has successfully reformed team flare as Team Neo Flare Spinel invites Chalce to join team neo flare as his second in command which she accepts as she joins they discuss the next phase of project Essentia Xerosic replied he said it’s going to take at least another five years Before it’s ready Spinel replied he it doesn’t matter we have all the time we need and he tells Xerosic until then start looking for worthy candidates for the project and as all that was going on Chalce was looking around the base and she discovered schematics of a ultra wormhole portal Spinel revealed that he had spies planted within the Aether foundation itself that allowed them to obtain schematics for his master plan and he reveals that he planning to obtain the DNA splicers from Opelucid City in Draydon possession with the help of the shadow Traid and he reveals to Chalce that capturing Gibeon shiny Zygarde was the first part of his master plan he also plans on capturing the legendary Pokémon Yveltal Necrozma Eternatus Terapagos and Niohoggr and he also tracking down and locating the pieces of the ultimate weapon Spinel revealed to Chalce that long ago after the great Kalos was ended Az younger brother had dismantled and scattered the ultimate weapon across the world So it can never be used again Spinel also plans on locating and reassembling the ultimate weapon and once he has everything he needs he will succeed where his father failed to create a New World which sets up the plot for the anime adaptation of Pokémon, legends ZA

@@InfamousTrainer in episode 54, gibeon revealed that he want to achieve immortality. So maybe rakurium also can make someone immortal. Out of context, my guess maybe the writer want to make liko forever ten like ash by making her immortal as an excuse. It's kinda interesting if the anime goes that way, maybe it's gonna be like frieren type but it's pokemon.

It’s all opinionated, but I can say watching and of course being caught up it’s not really fair to compare the two. I would say Pokémon Ash Era was rather predictable in known of travel and battle to where Horizons is for sure a better STORY and bringing in a unique twist the anime. They’re both enjoyable in their own right.
