I impulse bought it as soon as it dropped bc it looked so yummy and my TIMY is *almost* empty (not empty enough to justify buying it but I couldn't wait!) and I would love to see their thoughts. In the last video where they talk about skincare trends they use to do that they don't do anymore (Rowena's demonstration of the 10 step korean skincare routine she used to do) Rowena used the testing sample for her first double cleanse and it was labeled top secret but I IMMEDIATELY knew what it was bc I have no life, and I think she liked it? she didn't say much lol

Hi ladies, I was recently sleeping over somewhere and didn't have my skincare products at hand. As my face was feeling super dry I opted to use moisturising after sun with aloe vera (body lotion) on my face and that worked out well. It got me thinking; Are there any body care products you would recommend specifically to not use them on your face? Or any ingredient that often can be found in body care product that you would steer away from in particular?

Yvonne de Gier the answer is don’t use body lotion of ANY KIND on your face. Ever. You may feel like it’s okay now but it will block your pores, cause premature aging, and ruin your skin. Body care is formulated much differently from face care, since the skin on your face is thinner and consistently exposed to chemicals, sun, and pollution. Edit: I am a licensed esthetician

Andrea CeraVe honestly May be the exception, I’d have to see the ingredients of the specific product but they generally tend to be pretty basic. But they also make a like $6 face cream that you can find at most drug stores so you can just pick that up. But one or two times of using plain body lotion in a pinch won’t kill you, I just wouldn’t do it every day

@@Andrea-ih7np I don't use the CeraVe moisturizing lotion on my face, but I do use the moisturizing cream! It's wonderful. I have very dry, very sensitive skin and it works better than most high end face moisturizers that I have used. I also like it better than Cerave facial lotions that I have used. Sometimes, depending on what your skin is like, simple is best.

You can also gently pull the skin on your face back, while you move the dermabrasion tool over your face! That way it tugs less and you’re less likely to leave it in one area for too long 😊

Probably not, it’s best to try the less harsh products into your routine like timers and moisturizer, then switch up the harsher more maybe stripping products like cleanser and serums that way if you get irritated you know what product did it or breakouts

I kind of just found out on a thread on the internet that the problem that I am facing is keratin plugs (hard, dry, and looks like sesame seeds) and I haven't seen any post or review about how to treat them. I used AHA, the Ordinary niacinamide in the past and I'm using Paula's Choice BHA 2% but nothing helps. Does anyone have a clue? please help I'm desperate.
