Hi, I’m a longtime fan of BeautyWithin, but may I kindly request for this channel to start focusing on brand reviews? I love how in-depth your content is, but these kind of videos are getting slightly redundant. It’s also difficult to trace which products you’ve reviewed because they’re scattered across so many videos, with some briefly mentioning a specific product, and others going more into detail.

I'm half a century on this planet and I've lived my life to date to keep everyone else happy. I'm not very happy myself though. Such words of wisdom there at the end. Wish I had heard them 30 years ago. Strive for excellence not perfection. Precisely right. It's always someone else's idea of perfection you're striving for and you WON'T please everybody. And perfection is boring in my view anyway. If the world was "perfect" and everyone on it was "perfect" how boring would that be? It's our little idiosyncracies that keep things interesting and beautiful.

So my whole life, I just thought I was a natural grease bucket...but after stalking this channel for over a year, I realize I'm oily BECAUSE my skin is so dehydrated. I've used products from both of their lists (dry v. oily) and lemme tell you, my skin is STUNNING. Don't feel like you have to keep adding products to your routine based entirely on what you think your skin type is like - give these things time to work! They all have some benefit in their own way without being excessively abrasive like western skincare. Korean skincare is such a godsend for my sensitive skin and it really has become a selfcare ritual that I look forward to every single day. Thank you ladies!!

@somethingsomethingname4814
@somethingsomethingname4814 3 жыл бұрын
@@user-sx1rm3ky7k Hi! I've learned to follow ingredients instead of brands but if you're looking for a brand that works well for all skin types and offers unscented products, I'm really fond of Purito, Klairs, and iUnik. Purito has this amazing overnight ceramide sleeping mask that I've been using for the past month or so - I wake up with hydrated and plump skin, no oils or slick skin like I'm used to with western products. I love niacinamide and centella in my routine for balance but I also suffer from hyperpigmentation so vitamin a and c have also helped immensely. I also have completely stopped using scented products, harsh acids (I'm looking at you Glycolic), and most wash off masks. Hope this helps! Figure out what ingredients your skin responds well to and start learning about what they mean in the formulation list. I avoid a lot of actives and kbeauty makes it easy to find natural ingredients that work like actives without being too abrasive. Good luck!!

Hi I have a question and I hope you'll read this🥺 I have acne that just doesn't go away, but it looks like I have clear skin if that makes any sense... I have this for about 4 years now and it on both of my cheeks. These are tiny bumps all over my cheek and cheekbones and with every product I use it doesn't seem to help. One in a month I squeeze them out and every time I squeeze them out the next month it looks like it became bigger or more. I dont know what this is called and I dont know what to do about it. I hope u understand my explanation and will help me😅

I tried the test to learn what my skin type today. A few minutes after cleansing and not moisturizing, my face became flaky and tight. I am currently using the la roche posay hydrating cleanser and the cerave cream as well as the ordinary hyaluronic acid, but I don't think it's working. I've tried the cerave cleanser, the vanicream cleanser, neither seemed to work. The thing that confuses me is that, when I do the routine, I wake up and end up with an oily t-zone. Is it the moisturizer that is not working? I am getting really stressed out about my skin and I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Clinique made blackheads appear randomly on my face so I stopped using it. After two applies, I had blackheads. Then, I didn't use anything besides toner and cream.

Is it just me or did they get the plum plump serum ingredients wrong? I don't see niacinamide in the list. Just panthenol? I'm sensitive to niacinamide so I need to know if its a mistake or not before I buy it.

I’m curious about what there’s an X through the mugwort essence. I’ve been thinking about it for awhile. I’ve enjoyed the I’m from ginseng ampoule and have been hard core considering the mugwort. But I also want to try the Missha Artesmia essence. Although I always end up sticking with my Scinic FTE. But I want to try more essences. I tried a sample of a rosemary essence and it was so nice and moisturizing it’s got me thinking to try new stuff.

Recently I bought clinique moisture surge, it is just average. There r other korean products which are more hydrating.

Clinique moisture surge is my daily moisturizer and it's my favorite because it's super great for oily skin. Definitely it's not the most hydrating cream but I like it because it's hydrating enough but it's not heavy or sticky. In my case almost all moisturizers leave me like an oily mess.

@@karly.asshhh i don't hate it . My skin is oily acne prone. But in winter m bit on the drier side I thought it would be hydrating enough for winter . Yeah it would be great in summer.

Woukd it be rational to ask for an accutane video? Maybe some products to recommend and some information :DDDD ❤❤❤ THANK YOU AND MUCH LOVE I've been on it for 2 months and its only gotten worse, I finally saw q dermatologist and they're switching me to epuris (another type of accutane) as well as a keroderm 2% cream for my acne. My skin is just so sensitive now and it hurts and stings sometimes yet I'm using good ingredients -rosehip oil -hylauronic acid -cetaphil gentle cleanser and cream -aveeno positively radiant toner (with soy extract)

Most people tend to start using anti-aging products in their 20’s cause that’s when collagen production starts slowing down. From what I’ve heard though, I’m not a skin care specialist.
