For the misfire, some things to check out are plugs, coil packs, injectors, and compression. You can try switching them around between cylinders to see if the misfire follows and then pinpoint what’s failing. Just did my plugs today and can confirm it’s a pain and a half lol

If it’s miss firing at idle it’s a fuel issue. And a flashing check engine light is usually an emission issue. Maybe it’s running rich and causing some fuel to leak into the catalytic converters.

what is that code reader that you use that connects to your phone? i plan on going to go see a frs on tuesday and i wanna check the codes on the car to make sure there aren’t any or if there are, codes that aren’t too big of a problem. i don’t want to buy a big reader with huge wires or anything. also do you recommend buying a frs in pa as a daily where it does snow, but most of the time not enough where it piles up a bunch

Where you able to find the problem on the frs bro? I recently went eith a supercharger and I have the same problem check engine and traction light.. I've switched out all 4 spark plugs the coil pack and all injectors still have the problem.

Do you know why an exhaust sounds like just air like at 10:00min because mine sounds like that on warm idle. I have a straight piped lancer. It's stupid loud at full throttle but sounds like that. Do I need headers to change that? keep up the fire content.

I had that problem in my Audi all I had to do was replace the coil for cylinder 6 but I’d recommend to just replace all so they all fire up the same sending the same amount of spark to the spark plugs

I have a manual 2003 Camry Sportivo, radiator blew up on it over 10 years ago. Check engine line comes on all the time, constantly in limp mode so good luck with sorting that out. I think mine is just a general electromechanical issue. At least you get some kind of readout. Want to buy the GR86, won't be released in my country until the second half of this year which pisses me off as I'm stuck with this car of mine that perpetually lives in limp mode.

Check your Coils Switch 3 with 4 and see if it changes if it does you have a bad coil

For the frs, start with the small/cheaper things first and if those don’t work then go up the more expensive things, I wouldn’t think the motor is gone. And as for the brz, it’s a nice tone, not raspy like I’ve seen from other setups. Definitely do the headers to see how it changes it 🔥 going great!

For the misfire issue I would try to find a workshop camera even if it’s borrowed maybe autozone may have them for rent, remove the spark plug from cylinder 3, and check for cracks, metal deposits, valve sitting, it’s the easiest way to check for your self if it is superficial damage or internal, other wise you’d have to pull all the spark plugs and cross check compression across all cylinders and see if it in fact has lower compression best of wishes🤞

I love that the car continues to be in production but imo the spoiler on the newer ones is hideous. The 2013 limited stock spoiler is perfect and they didn’t need to do anything to It.

I love it . It’s got a nice aggressive deep tone without too much drone. Not overly loud or obnoxious but still a nice tone which will turn heads . That’s just my opinion I don’t want a loud exhaust though . I can’t find a sound I like for my brz (when it arrives ) but I do like this 😀 cheers

Happen to me while I was flooring it and notice my car bogging and bam check engine light but mine was a solid light and got cylinder 2 misfire. So I change all my spark plug and coil packs. I can confirm it is a huge pain to replace but after you get use to doing the first two it’s a breeze. The easiest side is the passenger side . You can also raise the engine up a little for a little but clearance also
