GR86 Greddy GT Exhaust - Driving and Revs + True Cold Start - GRE-10118300

Watched so many exhaust videos, but I kept going back to this one. My favorite sounding exhaust since gen 1s. I ended up getting one (was very difficult getting one as Greddy stopped producing them. Was told it was a year out for special order) but so glad I found one in the country! I don't regret it. Zero fitment issues. And drone is very bad 3200-4000 but if you can stay out of that range it's actually very daily driver friendly.

Just got one recently and it is pretty bad droning in the best part of the range 3200-4000. I use to just chill and play around 3200-4000 all day now I have to stay below that just to daily drive with no drone. You just have to drive differently.

@@86Speed 's all good, I'm looking at a Evo GT for my GR86 myself. And it's always depends on the mic too, different mics pick up sound differently.

I just got this exhaust on my 22 BRZ. The drone is some of the worst I've heard. Going to get it removed and get something else. I don't think the mic in this clip does it justice. It does sound amazing above 4k rpm though.

Yea there is a buzzy drone on deceleration under 3K - we will talk about this in a very soon upcoming video, Do you have other pipes ? Changing the FP and the other stuff will make a huge impact on the sound and drone.

Fark, the drone is disappointing to hear, this is the exhaust I was getting ready to order noooooo. I don't think there are any others I really like the sound of and the stock setup is so disappointingly quiet :'(

In our Experience the Comp RS had a lot more drone and a bit of Rasp - We will try that one our soon and film in similar styles to get a good reference

In the title it’s listed as GRE-10118300 but shouldn’t it be GRE-10118301? The link also takes you to GRE-10118300 which was for the 2012-2016 models. Since this is a GR86 I think it should be the GRE-10118301 unless the other model fits on the ‘22 chassis?

The 10118300 is the one we used exactly on this car, they are all similar, the 301 might fit as well we just did not have one to test that day.

I read it on GReddy website that 301 is for 2017+ GT86/BRZ to fit the changed overpipe. On 86speed webshop I see the note "FITS 2022+ GR86/BRZ" for the 301, but I dont see it for the 300. Even though the 300 was used and linked in the video. So now Im confused...

@@tomzvideo I’ll see if we can update the site. We used the 300 part number 1000% the 301 will also probably fit as well. The first Gen owners switched between these all the time. You can wait until Greddy gives yet another part number for the 22 model also. That will confuse ppl even more. We talk about the fitment a lot in other vids and why some mfg say they will not fit or they are doing a redesign.

If the evo gt is connecting to the front pipe, then the difference in overpipe doesnt really matter. So technically both should fit.
