just bought wwz aftermath for ps4 for $12 and played online for free this weekend. was a blast. wish this game still had a massive following to play with. way more value in this game than like all the ps5 games

LFD1&2 and WWZ are simply great hoard shooters period. They still hold up years later, and this update proves my point. Looking forward to remakes and sequels in the near future 🙏🙌💯

This new mode is quite rough... lower tier weapons can't 1-shot normies even with headshots, and the chance to get infected on contact diminishes the utility of temp hp. A small cq "brawl" has a chance of being lethal even for a slasher at full hp AND full temp hp on top. FF was crazy too, specially when dummies placed mines all over the place. It took between 3 and 5 tries to finish each map.

ier 2 Shotgun is the best starter for this mode, If any class have this shotgun perks, you really need to equip this.

You have to play with team 4 players, no chance to solo or dual new mode :))

Not really true, if the map doesn't need you to defend something, u can solo with vanguard, did two maps by myself

I found fire to still be spectacularly useful against them still in this mode. Playing as a medic with incendiary perk on tier 2 smg and handled them fairly well

At this level it is difficult to help someone because you yourself will die. The higher the level the harder it is to help someone.

Playing on Extreme-Extinction means you need to take care of yourself, don’t be a burden to teammates. Use every skill and knowledge to survive. Communication, Sharp shooting, Awareness, Positioning. That’s a coop. If someone keep dying and need other players to help or wasted their medkits, it means they instead shooting zombies-specials or doing objectives. They have to risking themself to help you. With a difficulty that 1-2 hits means your demise, that’s important not to be a dumbo.

Extinction stinks. Difficulty is, quite frankly, ridiculous. And what is it with the game not loading despite everyone being ready? The servers suck and they always have. Too many 999 players not using silencers which aggros every zombie right at the start. Should know better.

this game is just not balanced in my opinion. left 4 dead feels like you barely survive in a good way, but this game is incredibly unforgiving on the higher difficulties. 4 people don't stand a chance against a horde like that realistically, but it's a game so i expect a little more of an asymmetrical advantage.

Extreme+ is for zero mistake or player that loves to torturing themselves. It is meant to kill you. Play on Insane is balanced. You can survive any chapter if you know what to do even on solo. Also L4D don’t have any perks or heavy weapons, you kinda can’t compare these two games.

You choose a campaign, you choose a chapter, you choose a character, and you go from there. There are weapons and medkits spliced throughout the map. There are special infected that are also very similar to l4d, most notably the charger and the hunter. Wtf are you talking about?
