Both Natsu the pink hair and Lucy the blond the Main Characters of the series the story revolves around both of them he confirmed it in 2016 interview + Hiro Mashima also said the reasoning for Lucy in the france interview *M: For me, in FT, the main characters are Natsu and Lucy. There were already a lot of characters in the guild, and I told myself that it would be nice to put forward, a girl* the author wanted the main series to be easier to follow from the point of view of the second MC she´s in the same position as the new readers she also does Natsu´s job of Story Narration instead of him because the author said Natsu can´t narrate for the readers to gain readers' empathy Natsu a kind of guy, who shows, what he thinks through his actions The characters are fun and some are badass and the backstories are good sorry for the long words but it had to be done to avoid confusion if you start the series or reacting to it ( would be amazing )

@StephanThaPhenom oh absolutely, in my opinion it's on the level of the big three, One Piece, Bleach and Naruto, infact Fairytail sold more copies than bleach between 2014 and 2019 and is extremely popular and action packed, not to mention almost all characters are well thought out

The tattoos are the mark of whatever guild that wizard belongs to. Opening 5 shows a few of the other guild marks of each guild involved during the opening.

Theres this channel called young uchiwa that has all the openings yet still kinda edited with the characters on the side but has all the original openings with good quality if you wanna give it another shot but still great reaction man hope you enjoy the series if you decide to give it a watch 😊

The two main villains are Zeref the guy that keeps appearing in the black outfit with the white robe over his shoulder and Achnologia the black dragon of the apocalypse. Zeref is actually a villain to feel bad for as it's not really his choice since he is cursed by a god with the curse of contradiction. The more he values life the more he will destroy everything around him then if he forgets the value of life while he has control of his magic then he becomes evil and is just as likely to use it. He is also cursed with immortality as well. Achnologia is an actual dragon that has only one real goal in mind and that is the absolute destruction of everyone and thing he appears briefly during the S class arc at the end of the Tartaros arc and in the final season as the big bad guy to defeat. He was once human who became a dragon slayer after his village is destroyed. Problem with that type of magic is the more it's used the more likely of the side effects occurring which result in being turned into a dragon as well. There is a reason it has not happened to the main dragon slayers that will be revealed when you watch the series during the Tartaros arc.

Fairy Tail is my all time favorite anime. I've watched the entire series, 300+ episodes plus the movies, multiple times over and I still never get tired of it. Super hype for the anime adaptation of new season 100 Year Quest coming out hopefully this year!!

Fairy tail is defiantly a show worth watching. It revolves around a world of magic. Fairy tail is one of the wizard guilds and is during most of the series the strongest guild. Natsu is the fire dragon slayer giving him the ability to use fire magic. Lucy the blonde with the keys is a celestial spirit wizard her magic can bring forth spirits including those of the zodiac to come to her aid. Grey is an ice wizard and is a rival/best friend of Natsu. Erza can change both her armor and weapon at will and is one of the strongest members of Fairy tail there is. Gajeel the villian in opening 2 and later a member of fairy tail is the iron dragon slayer. While it does not show it the blue haired girl Wendy who appears in opening #5 is also a dragon slayer as well as a healer. She will also be able to do something that neither Natsu or Gajeel can do which is to go into dragon force at will. Generation 3 dragon slayers like Rogue and Sting can and that was shown happening in one of the openings. It is basically a dragon slayer's super sayian form making them stronger and faster than they normally are already.

Plus Natsu has a goal to find Igneel however unlike the other shounens where the trophy is spammed *I want to be the Pirate King* and *I want to be the Wizard King* Fairy Tail avoided that trophy spamming Natsu wants to find Igneel line isn´t spammed almost every episode I respect the series for that

PEAK TAIL 🤔I don't understand the complaints. 85% of that was the actual opening and the edited versions had actual opening scenes with some editing tweaks but what does suck is YOU MISSED THE BEST ONES 16 (strike back) and 21 (believe in myself). You just so happened to miss top 2. Fairy tail is by far the most overlooked and misunderstood anime. I wouldn't call it "underrated". It's more overhated and uncredited. It was as popular as the big 3 at its time and it's not even shonen jump. It has the best female cast in anime (not debatable), one of the most underrated writing, character designs, and transformations, unique and BROKEN power system, and full of hype moments. The matchups are always 10/10 but the fights have its flaws. Some are off screen, some end early, some are just blue balled and straight up don't happen but most of its "flaws" are nitpicked or lied about due to the hate wave a few years ago. Like that power of friendship crap. The theme is about emotion so they always have quotes/speeches about friends but all fights have an explanation/was foreshadowed. Never does a character talk about friends and just oneshot the enemy. Elements are also used in unique ways like using fire to create a small mountain lifting you off the ground. One character gains red lightning from creating mercury fulminate and another with iron power uses carbon from his enemies power for a steel transformation. People ignore the explanations and call it "dues ex machina" (whatever that means) simply because they're biased towards hating on fairy tail even if other anime do it. No joke you can't even make theories because people will shut you down and say it's plot armor ignoring the whole point of a "theory". Speaking of emotions, that's what give characters a boost in power (something most haters don't even know). It's never used to clutch up a fight though. More like making fights more intense or something traumatizing happens to an enemy so we know he'll be a problem. About the story. The first half introducing characters and establishing world building and the gang while the 2nd half is lore dump. Human v human, dragon v dragon, human v dragon being an episode title should give you an idea of the story. Natsu (a dragon slayer) from the fairy tail guild is looking for his dad who's a dragon. Lucy a girl who wants to join fairy tail sets out for adventure going against her dads idea of her living a boring but rich princess-like life. There's a lot of questions tho like how is Natsu a dragon slayer when his dad is a dragon. Also how can he learn to read and write by a dragon. Why did Natsus dad disappear the same day Lucy's mom passed away. etc etc.

At the end of the day fairy tail will 100% get you views and likes regardless if you praise it or bash it. Every reactor says the same thing "I don't understand why this show gets so much hate". Comparing it to other anime I can say Black Clover is its closest comparison. Magic, being the guild that doesn't follow rules, etc. People compare it to one piece because of adventure and friendship. Characters are probably like Naruto when it comes to repentance, rivalry, strong women, being silly. Story is like Bleach. Mastermind villain who set up mc's life. Mc who only cares about protecting his friends not the world and is every race along with his entire life being set up by the villain, respectable swordswomen. MHA only when it comes to looking silly and funny so people forget how dark it is. One second they're getting drunk or pranking the king the next second people are getting blown up/chained and beaten.
