As someone who lives in the Southern hemisphere (and already went through autumn in the game) i'd recommend using hey beds, mushroms and scattered fruits and piles of leaves. It's just so pretty! Edit: you can look at the Nintendo direct to get some inspiration, it's simple yet so beautiful.

Cherida Murry Hm, I’ll have to find one. It’s just pushing the garden faucet, a wood one or brick one, up against a barrel. Not to be confused with a water pump. IMO it looks like the barrel has a faucet coming out of it, like maybe you put your cup underneath to get cider.

I don't understand the anti-time travel movement that's suddenly emerged in NH in NL nobody really cared you just played how you wanted, I used to time travel because I worked odd shifts at work in between college classes so if I didn't time travel I'd never finish my museum I'd miss events etc. Generally TT was accepted and people weren't bothered, lot's of toxic comments started coming up about it in NH it's really weird. If you want to see Autumn now you see Autumn now I have no problem with TT, people do it for various reasons but in NH it's even less of a problem because you aren't spoiling actual events and there's no Mr Resetti. I love this mini series of Fall ideas and now it's even more inspiring because we can see all your ideas in the right season, keep it up!

I feel like the only time to ridicule someone for TT is when they are actively complaining about the lack of events when they do it. Like, yeah it wouldn't be fair duh. It's like people want to speedrun AC when that's just not the vibe of the game. Beyond that I agree, TT is whatever, it's everyone's personal choice.

I am not anti-TT, I think people should be free to play the game however they want. While saying this, I myself do not like to time-travel, but have nothing against it, especially in a game like this

right? like I work 3rd shift full time so if I didn't adjust my time I wouldn't really get to enjoy the gameplay

LittleV179 TT shouldn’t be as big of an issue as it is, and I don’t understand why people get so angry about it. Sure, there are some TT’ers that are annoying about it and complain about the lack of content since they’ve now spoiled things for themselves, but in general, TT is just another way of playing this game and making it your own experience, which is really what AC has always been about. For me personally, I don’t want to TT into the future, I like taking my time day to day and collecting things over a long period of time. However, I have a chronic illness that causes me to sleep for very long stretches of time (12-24 hrs straight), resulting in my sleep/awake schedule always being messed up and inconsistent. My wake up time and sleep time are never the same and change day to day, making it hard to play AC in real time everyday. On days/nights where I wake up from a full sleep cycle in the middle of the night, I will adjust the clock so that I can play AC during daylight hours in the game to be able to have the full experience. While technically I guess you could say it’s TT since I manipulate the time, it’s not TT in the traditional sense. I’m not doing it to get ahead, I just want to experience AC like everyone else on a normal schedule gets to, rather than playing in the middle of the night in AC while villagers are asleep and the stores are closed. That said, if TT works for someone else and that’s their desired way to play the game, I see no issue with that.

Fruit boxes are just cardboard boxes. You just customize them. I think you can only customize to your native fruit though.

Pears are my native fruit and I got a cherry box, so go figure lol. If I remember correctly it came from a balloon. It's the only one I've gotten too.

OMG I AM LIVING FOR THIS! A couple weeks ago I put up an apple orchard and added an autumn path to prepare for fall, since it's my favorite time of year. The farmer's market makes me SOOOOO happy!!! It reminds me of the stalls that are set up around cider mills up North, where I grew up. I love the jewelry table, I'm going to add a table that sells quilts. Ooooo... if I can find a donut pattern, that would be great to add, too! Have to wait until tomorrow, I had to order a bunch of stuff. Seeing the autumn colors at the end made me all emotional, no lie. Good job! Give us more! (I also added another account on my switch just do I could have a haunted house :D )

The way you feel about the fall asthetic is how I feel about winter. Pretty sure I will live in Christmas Eve land forever once December comes and goes. Your island is topnotch snd definitely made for Autumn vibes. Maybe you can have a Thanksgiving feast with all your villagers!

One thing missing for the orchard, you should have put one or two ladders in it. When I go in apple orchards where I'm from, there always ladders in some rows to grab the higher apples in the trees. ^-^

Oddly enough, your town fruit doesn't influence the boxes you get. For example, my town fruit is pears, and my sister fruit is apples. But the box I have is a cherries box. I wish the box you got was your town fruit, but sadly that is not the case.

I think I’m finally going to change up my orchard. Annoying thing is native fruit is apples, so if u make an entirely Apple orchard I won’t make nearly as much money when harvesting, but I might do it anyway. Great video!

So do we only get a true fall for a couple of weeks? Doesn't winter start Dec 1st? This looks great, I've done enough island tours I've already seen autumn but this makes me want to jump ahead to see how my colors look.

Yes, this Autumn scene is only for the last few weeks of Autumn so for the Northern hemisphere, it will be from mid November until snow covers your island. In terms of winter, you will get light snow fall during the end of Autumn but your island may not be covered in snow until a few days into the winter season. One day where it will snow very heavily, pretty much all day. Then next day your island should be covered in snow. For me and a few other friends in the Southern hemisphere, the snow covered island didn't happen until June 11.
